Atmosphere was as you might expect, but small, this place has been here for a very long time. The barbeque sauce was excellent but I had none on my tray, but they quickly fixed that with more than I needed. The service was excellent but the place is small, we had a party of 6, and they were very prompt in getting us a seat. The food was good, but the portions were small, but was proportionate to the price.

I don't know if the booths look that way on purpose... but they were ripped all over the seat, so eating there in a dress is not comfy at all. The salad was good, and the burnt ends were ok but nothing special, I like better the ones that my hubby smokes... also I ordered the whole portion but I thought that was actually a small portion. The ribs weren't juice but they were tender. My husband liked what he ordered, but he likes all Mexican and BBQ.I saw a lot of orders to go... but only other couple and us were dining in.

For the price of $16, I was still hungry. I had the 1 piece catfish lunch, and it comes with one side, and I ordered a hot link to go with it. At moms diner for 16 plus tax you get 2 sides a roll 3 jumbo shrimp 7 oz catfish. They lost a star for that because the food is good at both.

I was in the mood for catfish today and Billy Rays was the right spot to go. This was my first time trying it and I will be returning. The catfish was perfectly cooked crisp and fresh. Nice and tender fillets with the perfect amount of breading. The beans and mac and cheese were good as well. Not to mention, the customer service was top notch. Thanks Billy Rays for fullfilling my catfish craving. See you again soon!

Came through the drive through today and ordered a chopped brisket sandwich, 1/2 loaded potato, apple cobbler and ice cream.My chopped brisket sandwich was made fine. It was nothing special, but it came the way I ordered it. My loaded potato had no butter, and minimal (at best) cheese and sour cream. Also, I was given a cherry cobbler and no ice cream.The server at the window was nice, but at one order at a time, I’m not really sure how this got so messed up! Definitely not worth the 21 dollars & 50%grat.

Let's jus get to it bud,you didn't live up to your vintage/ landmark reputation with that ice cold mac n cheese ,very greasy okra ,loaded baked potato nothing to brag about ! Fries yuk actually only thing worth eating was the catfish tacos which were good ,chicken stripes ok, but now the sweet tea phenomenal all in all I was let down billy ray

Best bbq and catfish in town! Man I go for the catfish every time just because it’s so hard to find good crispy catfish that’s not over seasoned or gamey anywhere in town but this is perfect and with the hush puppies! Their sides are great too! You have to try the potato salad. It’s also a local owned family business and everyone that works there is always so excited to help. I can’t get enough of this place, it’s a must try!
