Bookers is a nice little bar located right at Main and Elgin in the BA Rose District, known for its wide whiskey selection and excellent prices. It has a good atmosphere with plenty of TVs, one pool table, and offers free pool on Monday and Thursday for drinking customers. On Thursdays, they do a little taco/burrito buffet. The bar has some good beer on tap and bottled. While the vibe is generally good and the servers are all adorable and very efficient, there have been inconsistent experiences with staff interactions. One visit noted an unprofessional incident where an employee was chastised in front of customers. However, other visits found the bartenders to be really nice, badass, and capable of making great drinks even when slammed. It is a favorite watering hole with a good group of friendly regulars, situated next to other popular restaurants.
