Ordered a cheese frito pie and could only get a couple bites down before I had to throw it away. Chili was terrible. My wife got the same thing and she couldn’t eat it either. The lobby was not clean (food all over the floor, tables, and seats). I had to wipe down a table so we could sit as all of them had food bits on them. Service was fine, but that is the first and last time I will visit here.

We went to Coney Islander with high expectations from past memories. It had been several years since we had been, and I was looking forward to chili cheese coneys like I remembered from back before I retired.
Unfortunately, they didn’t measure up to my expectations. Perhaps I expected more than I should have, but the taste was simply not what I remembered. The service was. Good, but, it was a Saturday afternoon and we were one of three tables of customers there. The restaurant was clean, considering the age of the building. Everything else was fine, except for the taste, and that was a letdown.

I have about had it with this location. I have been going to this location at least 2 times per month for the last 2-3 years and each time I order the $35 (12 Coney family meal). The last 4 times I have been there they seem put out with the order by either rolling their eyes and or a deep sigh and have gone on to ultimately mess up the order. I typically use the drive through but this last time I decided to go inside so I could watch them make the order. Once again, when I made the order the lady rolled her eyes. I asked for the manager and explained the situation while the lady that took my orders was still making my Coney's. I also noticed that the same lady that took and was making my order was apologizing over and over to those behind me for the wait. It was without question a passive aggressive comment also meant for my ears. So not only was she put out by having to make 12 Coneys all at once, she couldn't apologize enough to the people that had to wait in line just like I did. Not sure I want to spend over $1,000/yr at a place that doesn't appreciate my business.

DO NOT EAT at the CONEY ISLAND IN B.A. they will rob you they will give you an order that is not yours and CHARGE YOU FOR IT. Then refused to give you the money back that they overcharged you on your credit card 38.36 for 5 coneys 2 tamales and then refuses to give the difference back. You cant get your money back they over charged you. But you can get free food why would you want to go back to people that rob you this place is pathetic
