Their food is homemade by older ladies and they make it fresh so different items are available certain days. The sala de molcajete is so good. I love this place.

They also have a shop in side with all kinds of goodies. Candy, snacks, and desserts.

I'm reading lots of good reviews and I don't get it. The place was very clean, the service was good, if you call cafeteria style "service". We were met when we entered and explained the menu, (didn't understand much of what was said, not their fault i guess) but the process was very confusing. My husband and I both ordered the carne asada, I also had chicken wings and my husband ribs. The chicken was just ok, the ribs were fine but the carne asada was so tough we couldn't eat it. We left at least half the food on our plates and I went home looking for a snack. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Very disappointed.

visiting from Texas and found the perfect home made style mexican food. Will come back for sure. We have come twice and have tried the caldo de res, carnitas en salsa, costillitas en chile. All delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for a homemade meal.

Authentic food, fewsh and good. First time goin, the manager showed us what it was all about gave a sample of meat an explained the me u nicely. Ain't no tex mex food here, proportions were nice an big, reasonable price for all that you get. Will deff be back many times.

My wife and I were looking for a restaurant closer to where we live, and decided to try El Gallo Loco 2 in Broken Arrow (there's one at 11th and Mingo in Tulsa). I'm glad we did! The carne asada is divine! Perfectly smoked and deliciously tender! The shredded beef and chicken w/onions are fantastic also, as is the pork shortribs! (Yes, I tried everything!) The owner says he'll be adding a meat market soon, also. Can't wait! This place definitely warrants a visit!
