Jake’s Café is one of my favorite places to eat but today we went there and it was just awful I’ve never experienced such rude service. When we ordered our food my daughters toys were on the table and the plates were shoved on the table to where all of the toys hit the seats and the floor… Then The waitress got both orders wrong and never came back to the table after she served the food I had to go find the owner to get the order corrected and even had a bad attitude… After he fixed the order the waitress fell to come back to the table for the rest of the remaining time we were there… Which left us with no refills and we had to go to the front to get to go boxes… Then when we went and they had both the tickets completely wrong and the girl running the register was rude. Very disappointed because the food is always great and normally I’m treated like family when I come in…

Can i give this place no stars it 2024 and black people still get treated bad. I went to this place to do a to go order on my lunch lady set me down an gave m a menu and thats it two other couples came in and she helped them i set there for 10 more minutes no one came to take my order but helped the folks that came in after me so i left guess my money no good here so to my black folks STAY AWAY!!!

I was surprised that there wasn't an option for kosher meats other than pork, for those who don't eat pork!The food was the star of the day ☺️ we will return!

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Ordered the breakfast ?. For the price definitely worth it. Came with a side of salsa and sour cream. Ordered the house fries instead of hashbrowns. Potatoes were seasoned well. Nice little short order kitchen. Friendly Fast Service.Support Local.
Best place in BA! Been our favorite place to have family breakfast for YEARS! Can’t recommend them enough. The services is just as amazing as the food!
