Walked in without being greeted but figured they were busy..looked around to see the options and the case was pretty empty and what was there looked dried out. We still wanted to give em a try and get a couple cupcakes but still nobody came to help us…it seemed like the ladies sitting at the tables where the employees and they were just staring at us so we left and opted to try another bakery.

When me and my friends went there the worker at the counter was rude. At first I thought I was just being crazy but when I went back to the table the group confirmed that she was just very rude to everyone. The food is not good enough to make up for the lack of service and blatant hostility. We will not be back.

I ordered a gender reveal cake for a close friend’s special day, but when the light was turned on half way through the event, the pink filling was clearly visible through the cake. This could have ruined the surprise entirely. I had to quickly turn off the light and turn the cake so the parents wouldn’t see. When I contacted Laurannae, they only replied with a brief apology and no offer of a refund, discount, or any meaningful resolution. For such an important, once-in-a-lifetime event, I expected far better attention to detail and customer care.

I love this spot and have come here often the last few years. I meet every one to two weeks with a friend over dessert/coffee. The only reason I didn't rate higher is that they recently moved the closing time to 8pm. I live in midtown and have young kids, so there's no hope for me getting there before close anymore. I am sad to say I likely won't be a returning customer for that reason. Management, please consider going back to the 9pm close time. Keep making awesome desserts!

One of my favorite spots!
The food here is always super tasty and fresh. I really enjoy coming — the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Sometimes it gets really busy and it can be hard to find a table, but it’s worth the wait. Definitely recommend!

Place looks great, coffee cake is ok, drinks are just barely ok. Service is total crap. Came in super anxious but wanted to meet my friends here to chat. When I went to order, the cashier was so condescending to me. Hard stare, super impatient with me ordering, doing wayyy too much. I finished my order, I watch as she is super friendly to all the other customers after me, smiling and chatting them up like a normal person, but treated me like a subhuman. The two customers after me got their food and drinks first somehow. Even besides the service, they are so secretive about their prices. “How much is the large cinnamon roll?” “One more dollar than the regular cinnamon roll.” Just state how overpriced it is. The coffee is about $5 for a small, the desserts are $7 and seriously not even worth it. People come in with their own drinks and food because they know this cafe is only worth it for their aesthetic. Never coming back, have a nice day.

The atmosphere is cute and cozy, but sadly that’s where the charm ends. The pastries were bland, stale, and overloaded with sugar — no depth, no texture, just sweet for the sake of being sweet. Everything tasted like it had been sitting out for days. If you’re just here for Instagram photos, fine. But if you’re hoping for actual flavor or quality baked goods, you’ll be disappointed.

The cafe is pretty and decorated in natural tones. Many types of coffee & tea drinks on offer. Tried the chocolate and the lemon pound cake cupcakes- Divine!

I have never waited so long for a coffee. It was busy but the trickle of coffee orders were getting made was horrendous. Efficiency is definitely not this shops strong suit, 3 machines, only one running at a time.
Waited 45 min from in line to getting coffee in hand.
Plan to sit down if you come here. Don't be in a hurry.

Tasty matcha with a chill vibe at this large coffee shop and bakery.

The vibe was very nice!! So clean and cozy! But for some odd reason all of our desserts were very DOUGHY.. so we ended up trashing them. I’m not sure if they were old because they came out of a fridge… probably won’t be back anytime soon.

I was there was there with some friends. The place is perfect for that, super cozy and welcoming. Coffee was good. We were there for couple hours just talking.I really recommend it.
They kicked this black guy out on some racist stuff. Called the cops on him because some white man was yelling at him and said he can never come back. Whole time he was just standing there politely and trying to calm the dude down.
