Wow! This place was amazing! They have THE BEST CHICKEN FRIED STEAK! The service was great, and we loved the patriotic decor inside.Let me start by saying that I am a diehard chicken fried steak lover...I mean snob level. Lol. Anytime we travel in the states, I'm always on the hunt for the best chicken fried steak breakfast in town. If this isn't the best in town, then knock me down! The meat was perfectly tender, with only a couple of minor chewy pieces, but overall, the tenderness was on point. The crispy breading was perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. The breading was so good, I would've liked even more of it! The classic white gravy was phenomenal and just as good as I hoped, if not better. They gave a very healthy portion of the gravy too, but since I love gravy so much, I asked for extra and slathered it on every bite.The hash browns were also delicious and very flavorful, which was a pleasant surprise, because I've never really been a big fan of hash browns, but these were the tastiest I've ever had. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.My over easy eggs were perfectly cooked as well.My husband had the steak berger cooked medium, and it was delicious and perfectly seasoned as well. His over medium eggs were also cooked perfectly.His home fries were a bit too salty for his liking though, which says a lot, because he tends to like his food on the more flavorful side.We're so thrilled that we gave Mom's a try! We might have to come back for chicken fried steak for dinner too!
