2 meat meal, sides were slaw and Mac, and added Jalapenos Huspuppies togo. Staff is nice, gave me a drink while I waited. Loved the atmosphere.Food is good. Nothing dry, portions are fine, so next is to sit down and eat there.I'll be back with the Misses for sure.

I used to work at this location years ago and continue to come back because I love the food. However, the customer service is often not the best. The teenagers sit on their phones at the booth on multiple occasions. Today I called to place a to go order and was placed on hold for 5 minutes, which is weird because it was 2p on a Tuesday when I called and I would assume they weren’t overly busy at that time. Ended up just hanging up and getting food elsewhere because I was tired of waiting. Joe Davidson is awesome and the food truly made me love BBQ, but someone needs to teach these people how to run a restaurant

I am from Texas and was not impressed. I ordered a slab of ribs, and although they were very tender, they lacked any smoke or grilled flavor and they were not seasoned at all, like they just boiled the ribs and called it done. The macaroni and cheese was lackluster and needed salt, the barbecue beans are probably from a can of two types of beans with brown sugar and bits of meat added. My son had the sausage sandwich and it wasn't much better. The sauce was very good though, thankfully there was a lot of it because everything need it. This was the location across from Stoney Creek hotel, in case there's more of these places.

I'm sure our issue was a result of the order not putting the same table number on 2 separate orders. One meal came out and was finished eating before the 2nd meal came out. Personally speaking there wasn't anything great about the BBQ ribs and burnt ends.

The food is very good. Well the chopped Brisket is anyways. The sweet potato fries are good but they are heavily salted, some may not like that. I loved it. The workers were very nice and attentive.

OK Joe's is a local place with a national reputation. Inside banners announce why: major awards in the BBQ world's premier competitions. This visit was overall good: OKJ offers a variety of smoked meats and excellent sides. Food ordered at the counter was delivered quickly and correctly. The pulled pork sandwich had flavorful meat with a side of French fries with a tasty seasoning. The combo pulled pork and chopped brisket sandwich was good but the meat taste was overwhelmed by too much sweet sauce. Green beans were nicely flavored with brisket. Other diners commented that ribs seemed they'd been sitting beneath a heat lamp too long, though a hot sausage link was perfect. Aside from the BBQ make sure you try the Best Baked Beans On the Planet. This is a comfortable, clean dining spot that's good for small groups and families.

The burnt ends and brisket were very dry. We did like the beans and Cole slaw. Not worth the money.
