The coffee is hot (if that’s your thing, hot coffee hurts my feelings), the staff is friendly, and the food reminds me of the diners that I grew up seeing in movies. I only get to stop by for breakfast every couple of months or so, but it’s always met my expectations.
I was helped out by “Boss” and by Liz this morning (with Liz being a standout due to her kind attitude, fantastic nails, and exceptional service.) Because I sat at the bar, I had a front row seat to some of the kitchen dynamics that i would describe best as familial dysfunction. I found it quite endearing. In particular there was a moment when, in the midst of some disarray at the pass, someone asked, “What’d you ask for or what do you need?” To which the response was, “Not you.” Followed by, “Not you, got it. Okay, Boss.” It made me chuckle because it’s the kind of exchange that reminded me of how interactions are in a busy kitchen during my own family gatherings. Again, endearing. 😏
See you in a couple of months.
Food is good, hot, and many choices
What a cool place inside. You feel like you stepped back in time a little. Food was amazing! Staff was very nice. One of the best experiences I have had in a restaurant! Affordable! What a hidden gem! Check this place out!
Great home town diner experience.
Great fresh food and the best service!
Great breakfast and wonderful service
Very expensive. Cheeseburger plain and dry is $15. Soda, coffee, omelet, store bought jelly gravy, and short stack was $52. Not including a tip.
Food was decent.
Could tell a lot of it is pre-made to prep for a rush.
Nothing to write home about.

It's okay. Quite over priced for what it is.

We just spent $39 for two breakfast plates and a coffee and drink. Kind of pricey for breakfast. The food came out fast! Beware the meat is extra salty, but the eggs didn’t have much salt. I didn’t eat most of my ham, it was kind of slimy, didn’t wanna chance it. Gravy is yum, biscuits weren't very warm.(They take the biscuits from a heated shelf and put on a plate while it waits for your food it looked like. That may be why the biscuits were cold.) coffee was good!

We had a really great breakfast, the food and service were the best I’ve had in a long time. Grateful for the experience and many blessings to you all!
Kid-friendliness: The waitress was especially patient and kind with my kiddos which is much appreciated, the kids loved the food and the crayon options
