The secret to Pho is the broth. This place has the best I've sampled in the Tulsa area...

Soup and service were very good
Glorious broth!
This may be my new fav spot for hot noodles. Another place in Tulsa used to be my go to for pho, but they've been slacking. Tried this one off a workmates recommendation, they didn't disappoint.

I got the Medium P1 beef pho and it was the best I ever had. the previous pho bo's I've had had a weird aftertaste I came to associate with it, but with this, it had a natural meaty sweetness and everything wasn't overpowering at all. they were quick with my to go order and were super nice about everything. 10/10 would go to if I was in the area again

This plate is $14.99. No pork chop, 2 small shrimp, and dry chicken. This plate at other Vietnamese restaurant, you get a pork chop, chicken straps cooked right, 4 shrimps, soup, pickled daiko and carrots, sliced cucumbers, and sometimes sliced pork skin. The portion is a lot. This portion is something for a kid. The food is too dry. The pho here is basic: hot water, MSG, lard, and cilantro. Every Pho restaurant serves this kind of pho. Authentic Vietnamese pho tastes way better. It tastes so good, you need not add anything to it.

Best Pho in town. The vermicelli and fried rice dishes are good too. Decent portions for leftovers.

Today's foray to Broken Arrow took me to Pho 71 on Elm. Don't know if it was the cooler temps or what, but I was in the mood for something hot and soupy.
TLDR: Good pho, nice people, priced right.
Located in a strip mall along with several other eateries, Pho 71 is small, cozy and homey. I arrived around noon and was seated immediately. I'd kinda checked out the menu, so I pretty much had my mind made up, which helped speed the process a bit.
I went with the medium pho with brisket and meatballs, and a order of 2 fried seafood spring rolls.
In looking at the menu online, I only got to see the pho portion. There's a whole 'nother page with noodle and fried rice dishes, and a lot of them looked really appetizing.... so those are for another trip.
My food arrived pretty quickly, and after giving it a minute to cool down while I tore up the basil and cilantro, I plowed into it.
The broth is subtle and layered. Not at all perfumey like some places tend to be. There were plenty of noodles in the bowl, along with generous amounts of meat. They didn't skimp on the Thai Basil either. I love the stuff, but there was too much even for me. Bean sprouts, cilantro and a single slice of jalapeno was also presented. Personally, I would have liked to see a few more pepper slices and some sweet onion slices like my local Pho joint does, but it in no way detracted from the dish.
The spring rolls were properly done, with generous amounts of seafood inside, and cooked to a perfect golden brown.
I'm glad I went with the medium instead of a large, because I don't think I could have eaten a large, and that's saying a lot.
Price was just over $19 before a tip, and for what I got, I consider that pretty reasonable.

Probably the BEST place to get pho in town!!! I love that they are family owned and ran. I was unaware that they closed at 7 pm and I came in about 10 minutes before closing (which I hate doing because I used to work in fast food before) so I felt really bad and was going to just leave. The young lady behind the counter insisted that I stay and dine-in regardless on closing time. After talking to her and the young man I discovered that they are the children of the owners and they were extremely nice, considerate and attentive the entire time and didn't rush me at all. I will be back and recommend others. Thank you all so much💕

Not sure who's writing the great reviews but this is one of the worse pho places in this area. Meats were not cut thin. Vermicelli used same broil meat as pho but they threw it onto griddle just to char it a bit. Pho Noodles tasted gritty like old pho that I saved in fridge and reheated.
