Nice place to meet up with friends, relax and have a good meal. Selection, while not large, is good and well made. Usually not crowded and quick service. Service overall is good but we have had more than once where we've had to remind servers of a request.
First time dining here. Server was very friendly and attentive. Rolls and cornbread were excellent. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak but was brought the chicken fried chicken. She didn't want to complain and kept it. She said it was good - just not what she wanted. I ordered the bone-in pork chop. They were out of Brussels sprouts and tri-color carrots. My third choice they had (mixed veggies). The pork chop was large and cooked perfectly, however the flavor was misleading...
This place was alright. The environment was very calm and the scenery of the golf course was amazing. I could only imagine how peaceful it must be during a heavy rain storm. Now onto the food... we specifically came for the Saturday Night prime rib and it was a little disappointing. It was a little tough and salty, even though I got it med-rare. I wish it had a hint of black pepper or another spice of some sort, but it was mainly salt and dry/toughness of the meat. The fried chicken...
