I finally had the chance to try Shawarma Shack and it did not disappoint! We met the delightful Sammy who answered all our questions and provided great suggestions that we absolutely loved. There are items on the menu for everyone, including kids or the pickier eaters. I had the chicken shawarma and I know it will now be a regular craving. We also had the baklava and I enjoyed every bite.
If you haven't tried it, you need to!

BLUF/SUMMARY: Most authentic food of its ethnicity in the area. Food has good flavor, and made from scratch for the most part. Unfortunately, it’s hampered by high prices that are not aligned to its “fast-food” demeanor and small portions.
DETAILS: A friend recommended us to try this, so we made the 26 minute drive from Jenks to try it out. The food is definitely its strongest suit - we had the shawarma and falafel, and it’s much better than any middle-eastern food we’ve had elsewhere in Tulsa metro. Dolmas and cabbage rolls were also good.
Main ding for us was pricing. The $17 price for the shawarma platter, something that we had to line up and order ourselves… that’s the price for a dish at a sit-down place for most restaurants locally. Add to that the fact that portions were skimpy. I was also expecting higher quality pita bread, not something out of a bag bought in bulk at a store. Eating the food on foam plates, plastic ware, and paper boats, also took away from the experience.
Bottomline is that the price doesn’t match the product and experience. Not sure if we’ll be back, we will see.

After spending years in the middle east, I respect good shawarma and love good baklava, so I'm greatful to find this place. The owner Sam is great too. If your nice maybe he'll share some black tea with you too.

1st time having Shawarma. Tasted amazing. The meat was well seasoned and the rice complimented it nicely. The hummus was among the best I've ever tasted. All in all it tasted great. Soha was super nice and patient with us, she deserves a raise.

Update 11/20/24 STILL INCREDIBLE 🔥 one of the best restaurants in the whole Tulsa/BA area.
Best food in Broken Arrow!!! Wow what an amazing experience every time I eat here and get take out.
We grabbed two Beef and Chicken shawarma platters, to go. They were a generous portion of beef and chicken served over seasoned rice, with sides of hummus, tabouleh, pita and toum. Since it was a beautiful day. We decided to take advantage of it and enjoy the meals outdoors in a local park. On the drive the car filled with the fragrance of the spices.
The Lebanese version of these very common Mediterranean, Middle Eastern dishes had prominent flavors of what cinnamon, nutmeg garlic and black pepper. A delicious and slightly different seasoned version of some of my favorite dishes!
