I recommend getting the pina colada freshly made out of a pineapple! Such a treat. I also learned about the meal prep which I find very helpful for my workweek lunches! If I’m being honest I’m just too lazy lol Get the creamy chicken. It’s delicious

This is a Puerto Rican food truck, with outdoor seating if you want it. I've been to Puerto Rico... and it's impossible to find bad food let me tell you, and most of it is in food trucks. This lives up to the name. There was a sampler tray and menus presented as we approached the window... and boy was the food good. The food was prepared quickly and was absolutely delicious!! We brought some home to my wife's parents (fresh from PR) AND THEY LOVED IT!! I Highly recommend if you miss the flavor of the island... or just wanna try something new... this was delicious!!!

We had the Pastelillo de carne combo and split it between two of us and it was plenty of food with the sides of Arroz con Gandules and plantains! Everything tasted very delicious and fresh!! Very friendly owner and let us taste some samples before we even ordered. We did not try the pork but sampled it and was super tasty and tender; will probably get that next time. Will definitely come back. This is a hidden gem!!!

After visiting family on the island this spring, I've been craving the slow roasted pork that I fell in love with. And I found it at Sorta Rican! Absolutely tender and perfectly seasoned pork was perfection! The rice was delicious, and the tostones brought back memories of exactly how my aunt cooks them! I will be making the 20 minute drive happily and often! My family had the beef and cheese "pockets of heaven" and they were also spot on! And don't get me started on the mango habanero salsa!

After ordering we sat in the cool shade of the near by tree, at one of many nice picnic tables.
Our food was brought out quickly, and it was definitely hot and fresh. The serving size is big, the price is right for the meal, and the flavors were great!

Like others reviewers, my wife and I drove past Sorta Rican dozens of times, always saying, “we need to try that place.” Well, the timing finally worked out and we’re so glad we stopped. The food was absolutely delicious. We’ve now tried the cheese, carne, and pollo pastelillos and all three were very tasty. We had combo meals with got the savory plantains on one and sweet plantains on the other. Both were great, can’t go wrong with either. Thanks Michelle for the great food and service.

Love love love this place. We have limited option in Latin cuisine and this is now our go to when we want to eat plantains, meat and tostones!! Even my toddler loves the meat and tostones with delicious salsa!!
