Usually I'm very picky when it comes to restaurants and food, however when I first tasted their work, food was no longer food, it was art and I couldn't stop coming here afterwards. neither could not only locals but people from hours, cities, and miles away.
Their various options of Puerto Rican food is a whole new subject and entirely different.
They're family owned, authentic and they put years of effort and love into every detail from box to box. So don't wait. bring your family, your friends, your team. open a box or bottle and sit back and enjoy some of the best Oklahoma can offer.

Was told about this place several times. I finally was able to stop in today and the food was extraordinary! The pork and chicken were seasoned perfectly! I heard She makes everything from scratch everyday and I was blown away. Completely worth the stop! No chemicals, no MSGs, just real food.

Please stop or order from their website for delivery.

Sorry, it smelled so good, the photo was an afterthought! 10 out of 10, do recommend!

Rice was crunchy. Canned iced tea had goo in the bottom. Pork was excellent.

Great little food truck serving some great Sorta Rican food! Had the Pernil meal and beef and cheese pastelillo meal with rice and tostones. Came with mango salsa and mayo ketchup and a cold drink. We sat at the picnic tables and played dominoes until they brought out our food in less than 10 minutes. Hot, fresh and delicious. Took home tray of frozen pasteles and an order of papΓ‘ rellenos. I’ll update when we’ve eaten those but I’m sure they will be just as delicious! Bonus artwork on the boxes πŸ’•πŸ‡΅πŸ‡·

Broken Arrow has an overabundance of reheated microwaved Tex-mex places. So when you find a lovely food truck like this you know you are striking gold.

Sorta-Rican has incredible 100% handmade offerings made with an authentic legacy of Puerto Rican Abuela's(grandma's) recipes over 100 years old. THE PORTION SIZES ARE GENEROUS, ENOUGH FOR TWO MEALS (grandma wants to feed you energy). The Sofrito yellow rice has a perfect balance of spice and acid, but isn't actually hot spice-wise. The handmade fried dough of the Pastellilos is rich and soft. The slow roasted pork could easily be up there at the top of any pulled pork recipes you've had at the fanciest bbq shops. The Papa Rellenas were gigantic fried balls of mashed potatoes filled with expertly spiced minced ground beef, incredible. The sweet fried plantains(like a banana) were such a perfect pairing to the meal combo, that you will think regular banana's are boring from the next moment onward. Puerto Rican food encapsulates the best of Latin American cooking without the spice of chile peppers, which should appeal to the area.

Next time you are in Broken Arrow and thinking about about something to take home, don't settle for some reheated burrito with burnt plastic on top (cough... Los Cabos.. real story), immerse yourself in a century of Puerto Rican tradition and flavor at Sorta Rican. You will be impressed, I promise. The friendly owners are also there to patiently walk you through the menu if you have any questions!

I have to say we bought several dinner plates as we were curious. All was spectacular, spiced well. The shredded pork and mofungu, the fried meat pies (cannot remember the name), the rice, the plantains. All was delicious. We of course will be back as we are local. But if you are in area and they are open, we'll worth the stop. Yummy!!!!
