I remember the old location being not so great.... The reason I never went back. However, this new location is way better!!! Food is delicious & fast. I really enjoyed the rice as well. Nice clean atmosphere & patio seating. I will definitely be back 😁

I don't care for the booths at Ted's and I would never recommend the sheet nachos but the Asiago Fries were fire 🔥🤤😋🤪 the tortillas, dips and sopapillas are always on point🤤💯‼️ One of my most favorite spots 💯

From the moment we sat down, the experience was classic Ted’s: 🧀 Free cheese dip, salsa, and warm tortillas—always a welcome start. 🍽️ The service was friendly and fast, and the food came out hot and flavorful. 🍯 And of course, the complimentary sopapillas at the end were the perfect sweet finish. Even in a more compact space, Ted’s doesn’t cut corners. It’s still the same delicious tradition we look forward to every time.

We recently visited Ted’s Escondido for lunch and had a great experience overall. There was no wait, which was a pleasant surprise during lunchtime. Our waiter was excellent—very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, getting us in and out efficiently. The only downside was the chicken in the enchiladas, which was unfortunately overcooked and tough to chew.

Went in ordered thru the to go door. Waited about 10mins. Had dep fried avocado with black bean corn relish. I think they forgot the relish part. It looked and tasted as tho it was just corn and black beans with melted shredded cheese. She said it comes with queso, hmm, not what I got. Got cilantro corn rice, the rice was dry and still hard. As if not cooked completely. I love sopapillas... got one. Came with one pack of honey. Never in my life have I ever tasted any like this... idk how to explain how it tasted. Maybe it was an off day for the cook. Idk but definitely was not what I expected nor wanted.
The food in the service was amazing but I wanna see some life in the servers. I know sometimes it's hard to get through shift and keep that customer service smile. I just want to encourage the managers of the establishment to be there for their employees. Team work isn't just about the job it's about the people. Please be there for your servers Because it's obvious when a manager is not there for thier staff.

Honestly this place is great. The managers on staff always come up and check on us when eating here which I have been at restaurants when I've had issues but didnt want to talk to the server about so I had to get creative to talk to a manager. Im so glad at Teds that's not the case. Overall I would Def recommend others here due to the attentiveness of the managers and the tortillas alone!!
