I was really hoping this would be great as it came so recommended in all the trip research I did. And I’m so disappointed, I’ve never paid $120 for a mid dinner like this (2 entrees, 2 kids plates, 2 cocktails, 2 lemonades). Teriyaki chicken and mashed potatoes? What kind of combo is that? Everything was either way over salted or no flavor at all. The service was meh, hostess gave us the blank stare when we walked up and waited for us to say anything before speaking. Then just stared at me when I told her we had a reservation. Waiter was nice but high as can be and practically whispered. The seats at our table wear peeling, flies were everywhere (inside). We left feeling like we should have stayed at the cabin and ate leftovers….
We were sat under a fan that was blowing so hard our food became cold within minutes. We asked if it could be turned off and it could not. The food was mediocre for the price and the cocktails were very over priced. Would not recommend.
Food was good .Was a special night fir us and I let them no months ahead of time...We never really seen are waitress..She got us drinks and took the order...The kitchen brought out the food and after finishing and watching her just walk around we got up and went and got someone to help us pay the bill so we go get out of this wreck...Was about 80 inside also....No fun sweating in the winter time
Made reservations weeks in advance for our anniversary that we always celebrate in Broken Bow! Specifically spoke with someone and reserved a booth for our special occasion and even confirmed the reservation days before only to be told they gave our booth away and we would have to wait for others to finish dinner!! Unacceptable!! Of course could not get in anywhere else bcs of valentines so way to ruin our anniversary dinner Abendigos!! Will definitely spread the word not to go here! Especially now that I have seen another review on line stating almost the exact same situation as ours. How can you make reservations for people and then not honor them?? Despicable!! No way to run a business! You should be ashamed to ruin such a special occasion!!
Great restaurant to work for, great staff members, good choices of food
Overpriced, overhyped, and underperformed mediocre food, sent my dish back after three bites thankfully they removed it from the ticket. $7 for a domestic beer is absolutely absurd. Mediocre food, service, and atmosphere. Womp womp
This is essentially a sports bar that serves filet and $18 appetizers. However, the gift shop they make you wait in would make white women who drive Denalis and Escalades pee their pants in excitement.

I'll start with we had six adults and four kids. We had reservations made several days in advance. It was 45 degrees, and they seated outside in the covered patio area. It had three upright propane heaters. One next to us ran out of propane. After restarting the heater, it soon ran out again. We later learned that the propane shipment was late. Moving to our waitress encounter. We all realize that these people do not have an easy job, and we respect them for the job they do. However, they still deal with the public, and they should greet each customer appropriately. We could quickly tell that the waitress was not having a good day. We do not believe this experience was the norm for her. She took our drink orders and brought them. She spilled tea on the picnic table they seated us at, that ran through the spaces of the table and onto my daughter. She turned and left. Hey, accidents do happen. However, it is the norm to bring a cloth to dry the customer off and clean the table. Upon her return, we ask for a cloth. She brought a roll of paper towels. We asked her for a wet cloth to clean the sticky tea from the table. She enrolled about 3 or 4 sheets, stuck them down in the water pitcher, and wiped the table. We were then asked if we would like any appetizers, and she did suggest some of the favorites. While contemplating what we wanted, she left, only to return a good bit later to take our order. A reasonable amount of time passed, and our food arrived. The food ranged from steaks, fish, chicken, and brisket tacos. It was all delicious and plentiful. I did ask for my coffee again, and she replied that she didn't hear my order. Hey, it happens. Upon paying out, we did ask to speak with the manager. He was very polite and also the one that came and tried to light the heater. We explained our encounter, and under the circumstances, we felt the predetermined tip was extreme for the experience. He did apologize and waved the tip. Was this the norm for this establishment? I would say no. We have dined there before. However, I feel that when I go out to dinner and pay those prices, I shouldn't be seated at a picnic table, in under an outdoor pavilion wrapped in plastic unless it was by my choice, treated somewhat disrespectful, and freeze the entire time.

Our server Dayton was amazing. Super helpful on our choice for the best 12 ounce steak I have ever eaten. Great wine selection. It was my wife and I 6 month wedding anniversary. Definitely coming back to ask for him

You need a reservation at this restaurant, which is something you would not expect. We were told to wait in the bar, as we walked to the bar there were a number of empty tables and remained empty the hour and a half we ate at the bar. The waitress that was tending the bar area was fantastic and allowed us to eat at the bar. Great food, but make reservation a day in advance if you want to eat in the dinning room.
