FishTales Winery & Bistro

Fish Tales is our very first stop as we get to Broken Bow. The wine and food are delicious. It makes the beginning of our getaway very inviting . Gin, not sure of the spelling of his name, is so friendly and there is no charge for the wine tasting which they make. We always have requests to bring our friends some of their wine when we go. The outside deck is a delightful setting after traveling in the car. We highly recommend you visiting Fish Tales. You won’t be disappointed!🤗

We were here for about a week and I made sure we went twice because the food and wine is that good! I loved that we got to try 6 of our choice at no charge but the wine is so good we both walked away with a glass and I ended up buying 3 bottles to take home, I tried all the wineries here but fishtales stayed at number 1 for both the food and delicious wine. If you like sweet you can’t go wrong with the pineapple or peach and the Hudson creek blackberry red was also very good! And the paninis are to die for the flavor combos may sounds strange but some of the best things you wouldn’t expect to go well together ! Also according to the people I ate with their brisket is also delicious (just not my thing personally!) and if you have someone that likes beer they do also serve beer. We were just sad we didn’t get to try the potato soup, maybe next time we’re here !

Free wine tasting of your choice of 6 wines. Being from California, we were very surprised at how good the wine was. Enjoyed sitting on the patio relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine.

The wine is amazing, the food is so good and the staff is great! There is a young gentleman who is there most of the times we have stopped in and he is our favorite! Love the Blackberry Caddis and all the muscadine! Great place!

I love this place! The food is amazing. I highly recommend the blackberry bacon jalapeno panini. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Best place to stop in Hochatown! Great food, great wine, great people.

We have been to Hochatown several times & finally made a stop here for lunch. The bread & olive oil appetizer was delish & the blackberry/bacon/jalapeño panini was fantastic! We sampled some wines all of which were good. Will definitely be visiting here again. This is a hidden gem!

My family and I had a great experience here from my 25 year old sister to my 75 year old grandmother. The staff is so kind, food was great, and wine was amazing.

This place is awesome and a must visit if you’re in the area. The wine is amazing, and they use grapes that are unique to the area. I also thought the charcuterie board was excellent. Will definitely visit again the next time I’m in town!

the mulled wine was exceptional and the staff was very friendly. We did not eat but the menu looked delicious. Highly recommend.

Cannot express how fantastic this place was. My wife and I stopped in for a tasting and lunch. We were so excited for the food based on the smell and the homey feel. Service and decor were great, it felt like you walked into someone’s living room.

Had the mouth-watering apple-bacon-gouda panini and the grilled cheese with the best basil tomato soup you’ll eat. Wine tasting was superb too!

We’ll be coming back for another lunch, probably before we leave town!

Extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. The winery is certainly a place to stop in when here. We've yet to dine at the bistro due to our poor timing.
