Got in right at our reservation time. When the server finally came over, I felt like each encounter with them was curt and rushed. If he enjoys his job, I couldn't tell. The food itself was very good. The calamari did not disappoint. My party also had the chicken fried steak (HUGE), the ribs, and the brisket tacos. My spouse ordered a beer and I had the Lady Bird. My drink was an expensive disappointment. It tasted like punch. If there was even a drop of liquor, I'd be shocked. I should have opted for a glass of wine or a beer and not bothered with a craft cocktail.

Abendigos was absolutely delicious and very much worth the cost. We were both extremely pleased with our entrees. The presentation was beautiful, and our server was excellent. My husband and I came in, very overdressed for our 5th wedding anniversary, and had a great time. If I didn't have cake waiting for me at home, I would have loved to try their Creme Brule. The coffee was delicious.

We arrived for our 8:45 reservation around 8:40. We were told to wait 5 minutes for our table to be cleaned. We ended up waiting 20 minutes. I don't mind waiting but the dining room was pretty empty. Our server was Garrett and he was great. We did notice food was coming out super quick and tried our best to spread it out as we were celebrating our anniversary. We ordered the wedge salad, which came out with our waters and the chicken southwest egg rolls which came out just a few minutes later. We loved the wedge, but both thought the egg rolls were just okay. There was a lot of sauce inside. We ordered the 16 oz ribeye medium rare and added the side of macaroni. Our ribeye arrived charred and we were nervous however it was more rare than we expected, but still pretty good. The mashed potatoes and veggies weren't anything to write home about but the macaroni was pretty good! We ordered the brownie sundae and both thought it was okay. Overall it was a good dining experience but felt rushed. Once we sat we were out of there within 35-40 minutes but we would've liked to spread it out and enjoy it more.

We always love going to Abendigos when we visit Hochatown! We accidentally made a reservation last night for 2 in attempt to make a reservation for 4 people. When I called to see if there was anything they could do to change it, they happily accommodated for our party! Also, they consistently have some of the very best calamari we have ever had! Love our Abendigos!

Service was poor. We had reservation and it took 15 onset us when there easily 6 free tables. Waitress took forever with drinks and food. Chicken Alfredo was very dry and sauce was tasteless. Old fashion was pure whiskey. Do not recommend this place.

There were two hairs found in our appetizer of calamari, so the waitress quickly took it off of our table. The potato salad and green beans were not seasoned, very bland. The mash potatoes were so thick and gummy, you could pick up all the mash potatoes off the plate at once with the fork. The chicken steak and ribs were good.

Garret was our waiter and he was great. The Truffel and Gouda Mac and cheese was amazing! The 12oz. Ribeye seemed to be a bit small but flavor was excellent and cooked perfectly. Definitely worth every penny. Hochatown's hidden gem, no doubt.

Abendigo's was great. We had a party of 18 and service was great (be sure to make a reservation). The host was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Our server was attentive and friendly. Time needed was reasonable for the size of our group and the busyness of the restaurant. The food was fabulous, atmosphere left nothing to be desired. Prices were what would be expected at a restaurant of this quality. Everyone in our party had a great time and no complaints. I will eat there every time I am in the Beavers Bend area.

Didn't get a chance to eat this time due to the wait, but the atmosphere was nice. Per usual.

Casey or Kasey was absolutely fabulous!!! She was kind, thorough, knowledgeable about everything on the menu and very cute to boot!! We will request to sit in her section every time we visit Abendigos!!!

Watch out for credit cards! They charge 3.75%! No way their merchant fees are that much, so they are making money on credit cards. Was disappointed to make a reservation to then be seated in a bar. My daughter wanted pasta so she asked for just the spaghetti and they tried to charge for the Chicken Parm (waitress said we could order it that way) so we had to argue for a lower price. Food was good enough, but nothing special. I don't recommend it.

Service took forever. Ambiance was horrible. Seated right by bathrooms though our reservation included a note about it being our anniversary. One meal came out burnt. Food was mediocre. Quality of service and food were horrible considering the prices. Will not be eating here again.

This was our first time to Hochatown and it reminded us of Sam Rayburn Lake in Texas with the tall pines, but with waterfront homes and without the traffic! Abendigos exceeded our expectations, we were worried about the limited restaurant choices but very happy we booked reservations at Abendigos for the night. We would definitely make it our first choice on the future! The filet mignon was cooked to perfection just like we asked for, and the mushroom and goat cheese appetizers with a side of spinach was excellent! The food was outstanding! The truffle fries were so much better than anticipated and the brisket tacos were delicious! Our waiter was kind and attentive and wait time was nearly nonexistent to be seated and receive our order. Will definitely come back again!
