This was the most awful place for food. The people were so rude and hardly spoke to us . After we ate my husband and both felt sick to our stomach’s I had to throw up and he had to go straight home for the restroom. I dont know what’s wrong with the food there it may have been old grease or old meat maybe both but it was worse than fast foods and I hate fast food. I have never felt this sick after eating a burger. Holly Creek Pitstop was hands down the worst place I have ever eaten at in my 40 years of life. Ever!!

The store had everything we needed to make a last minute picnic lunch at Holly Creek campground. The women working in the Pitstop were very friendly.

I've seen this spot for a few yrs but never stopped until a few days ago. I'm not too keen on the amount of traffic in town and living in Lukfata community the location was ideal. They had plenty of options available but the only problem is deciding on just ONE because it all sounds good and so far everything we've tried has been very good.

My husband made reservations up the road at the Cabins at Holly Creek for the week of Halloween. He was diagnosed with cancer in August. It was a very aggressive cancer. We had taken a vacation to Beavers Bend when we first met and he loved it and wanted to go back one more time. We stopped at the store one day to get me something to eat. I was hoping so bad that he would eat too. The cancer had taken away his natural instinct to eat. Instead it made him sick to smell food. Even the thought of food made him sick. So he waited outside while I went in and ordered me something. I chose a cheeseburger. While they were cooking my burger a couple with their baby came in the store. They got a few things and when it came time for them to pay the cards they tried to pay with we're denied. I stepped up and told the lady that was waiting on them that I would pay for their items. I think it came to $32 or something like that. The lady with the baby was so grateful.Anyway, I also bought 2 of the stores T-shirts as souvenirs for our trip.My husband and I enjoyed the area and had a great time spending time with each other. We didn't know then that our time together would be so short. He died November 25 just 3 weeks after we returned home. I will never forget our time together at Holly Creek or the couple with the baby at the Pit Stop even though I never knew their name. What I was wanted to ask of you though is this:Somehow the shirt I bought for myself has been misplaced! I can't find it anywhere. I was wondering if you would send me another one? That shirt meant a lot to me as it was the last trip we took together. It was black with pink writing and had a pig on it. I will gladly pay for it! Can you get in touch with me please!
