Reminds me of a friend’s cabin but with a bigger living area filled with tables. LoVE how many locals came in to dine. Warm & hospitable staff. Good hearty food. Most of the food we ordered were large portions for a good price. The best was the chicken livers & chivken fried steak. My least fave was the open-faced steak sandwich, which was small, Flat, & dry. For the same price, get the chicken fried steak instead. The 14oz prime rib was moist & tender too but on the oily sude. No room for pie. We were full!

The steak was horrible. My wife and I both had the sirloin. It was probably the worst steak I've ever eaten. It says on the menu that they char grill the steaks. Ours seamed like it ws cooked in a skillet with water. I don't know how to explain it. It was kinda mushy but tough at the same time. If that makes sense. It did take a while to get our food also. That's understandable being that they we're rather busy with other customers. The salad bar is probably one of the best I've had. The only thing I would change about it would be instead of being a one trip salad bar you should be able to go again after you eat so you can get the dessert items that they have on there.

Me and my husband came in for dinner. We got the bacon and cheese fries and they was so gross and I could tell they was microwaved. I got a streak and a baked potato but the streak was so hard to chewy couldn’t get a bite. It had no flavor whatsoever. The had two different kinds of bacon bc on the cheese fries it was crispy bacon but on the baked potato they gave me bacon bites, the rolls was cold. The fried okra was nasty. I would not recommend going there. It was highly priced for a soggy steak and no flavor whatsoever. Definitely not 65 dollars for the meal we got. I had no problem not giving them a tip.also the waiter didn’t really care to check on us at all.

Me and my wife came in to have dinner we wasn’t greeted they gave us a seat and our menus then we ordered some cheese fries that look as if they had been sitting for several hours and then microwaved I ordered a steak that tasted like cardboard not seasoned soggy a1 made it edible do not recommend for the price I paid 40 dollars for one nasty soggy steak

This restaurant has a nostalgic small town feel. Aside from nostalgia, I wouldn’t recommend. The food is sub par for the price and the service leaves much to be desired. There are several other options in Broken Bow that offer tastier and fresher menus. Four stars because they’re a family owned staple.
