I came during lunch and the food I had was hit and miss for my taste buds. I had some banger hush puppies and catfish, but then other dishes i didnt like as much, like the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I also thought the pancake was a little chewy that I had. All personal preference though I suppose.

Food has NO seasoning whatsoever.. Hair was found in food. We told them and they “fixed” it but food was not made fresh again. Overpriced for what it is. The waiter we had was nice but there was another waiter who kept mean mugging our table, for no apparent reason. Was just very uncomfortable with her. As far as the credit card machines fee, credit card machines (or merchants) in Oklahoma cannot charge a 3.75% surcharge legally, unless a business can show its actual processing cost is at least that high (which typically is not the case).

Hubby and I went here for breakfast this weekend. Food was fast and delicious (4 stars because hubby didn't like his eggs or sausage, he's picky). The pecan pancake was so good and large enough for 2 people. The waitresses (mother/daughter) were on point and so nice.

Food was ok, but they overcharged on my card, i signed the receipt for $28 but they actually put in the transaction amount as $30 without my consent, that's fraud. Also they charge 3.75% of credit card fee, all the other restaurants here in Broken Bow doesn't charge that.
To answer the question why I didn't bring up I got overcharged when I was there, when I checked out, it only showed the food cost which was about $25, I signed the receipt for $28, two days later it showed up on my account transaction as a completed transaction of $30 which I never signed on. By that day when the full amount showed up, I have left Broken Bow area

We loved visiting Shady Oaks Restaurant. The wait was only 10 minutes, and the staff was exceptional. Half our group had breakfast and half had lunch, and no one was disappointed. Delicious food!

My boyfriend is obsessed with the breakfast potatoes, so when we were in town for my birthday I had a friend stop by for 5 orders of them to surprise him. They were so nice, and gave us a huge tray of them!
We eat breakfast in this cozy place and was soo good I recomend to all visitor and locals, what I love was the big cup of coffee. The person's there were so great.

We came in before 1230 and were still there before 2. Noticed when it got closer to closing time, they got in gear, and food came out to others faster.
