We visited during a vacation, and it was great. I had the half pound ?crab legs and ? shrimp. Everything was great. Quick service, and the bar setup was awesome. The owner came by, and we chatted for a while. It was the end of the shift, and he made sure to make us feel like we weren't being rushed. We are definitely coming back. Keep that ticker healthy brother!
The food was so good here. We were surprised to find quality seafood so far inland. The cajun seasoning was spot on. One of the owners was going around making sure everything was great with the customers. He was a super nice man. I wish we were visiting longer. We could eat here everyday!

Decided on seafood for my girlfriend's birthday retreat to Broken Bow. We ordered the Shrimp Cocktail, Jalapeno Crab Bites, Crab Chowder, Red Snapper Plate, Raw Oysters and a Bloody Mary. I forgot to order Hush Puppies and the bar staff took care of me and got them out to us. Everything was super good!!! We even had an ordering mishap with the Oysters (probably our fault) that was corrected by the super nice gentleman manning the outside bar. He made sure we had the correct football game on the TVs and all! Great experience, amazing, food and excellent service! The local cat even stopped in for his meal and was fed and pet by all the cat loving patrons! Fellas at the bar, thank you for completing our trip to Hochatown. The memories will be forever with us. Thank you!!!!!!!

Atmosphere is good however we were very disappointed with the food. The appetizer was something out of a frozen box (or tasted that way). The red snapper fillet was over cooked. After paying a $50 bill, at least the beer was good.

Counter service with beepers. Very nice welcoming. We ordered Oyster poorboys. It was served with fries & 2 hushpuppies. The poorboys started out very good but second half was full of mayo & bread was soggy. Ask for mayo on side if you want mayo. Personally I just like cocktail sauce. Fries real good. Hushpuppies small but good. Beer served in cold mugs so enjoyed that. There's no table service at all. Sitting outside was really nice

Catfish was good. Service was great. Fried shrimp was not good at all. They were butterflied and mashed to make them look bigger. They were Fried and very tough. Might eat here again but won't order shrimp.

Food isn’t worth the price in my opinion but the service and atmosphere is great. The food is okay, not bad but for $100 on 2 entree, 2 beers, 2 fountain drinks and 1 starter, I would have liked better flavor. Service was fast and friendly

Customer service was lacking, flies everywhere inside and out, dirty tables and booths and food tasted horrible. Not fresh at all. Definitely over priced as well. Will not be back and don’t recommend to anyone in or near Hochatown. Very disappointing seeing as though we went based on 4 star rating with google.
