What cheap food.... Chicken fried steak. 1/8; inch thick with 5/8 inch breading, ... Help yourself..... They got plenty at those prices.... I'll pass from now on! The oaks restaurant on 259 toward idabel is much better food.... For less money..... I'm through with the Smith's joint!

Had the Catfish Special, it was good…I prefer thicker pieces of fish, but it had good flavor. Came with beans as a side…with a little salt and pepper they were really good. Not touristy at all, which was nice. Would eat there again.

We stopped for lunch on our way out of town and really enjoyed eating here. Delicious home cooking. Kind and attentive staff. Easy in and out. It was quite busy when we entered, but it didn't take long to be seated, order and get our food. Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed Smith’s good eats for breakfast. Their food was very good and the service was wonderful. We will definitely eat here again when we come back into town.
If you are not sure about trying this place out please do. It was so good and so simple. Food is home cooked and took me back to childhood. Friendly service and fast. Great food. And small town vibes. Highly highly recommend. Not to mention the price is great.

if you’re on a trip in Hochatown and finding your restaurant experiences to be lack luster- please stop by here!! We stopped on our way back home and are so sad we didn’t come here during the week. The staff is excellent, so friendly, reasonable prices, and great food. Great experience, so glad we stopped by. When we’re back, this will be the only place we come for breakfast, do not waste your time at the tourist spots further into the town!
