My husband and I decided to try here for breakfast on our honeymoon. We are from Texas and was our 1st time out here.
The food was great! Got a veggie omelet with bacon and biscuit and gravy with the BEST I've ever had diced potatoes! The omelet had so much bacon in it and the veggies with cheese inside was amazing!
The waitress was incredibly sweet

Not your typical small town restaurant.
Hub cap size pancakes. Cathead size biscuits. Great fried catfish. Great people who patronize them. Example; I had had foot surgery and I was in a wheelchair. Very nice in accommodations for me and my wife. We were staying at Beavers Bend State Park and came for breakfast out 1st morning. Meat a mountain of a man with a black beard a small child could hide in.
Talked a bit and it was obvious that he was a christian and called me brother. A perfect stranger. I got to the register and the lady said my bill had been pay for by the big man. Got to the parking lot in time to wave and shout a thank you.
Next morning it happened again by a group of 8 men in the back room. Planning on paying it forward here at home.

Cold food, waitress never came back to check on it to even find out. Food was bland and seemed very microwaved. 2/10 - don’t recommend.

We were told this morning it would be a 20 min wait. After 25 minutes, we checked and they said it would be another 30 min at least. Group of 17 came in after us and was sat ahead of us. Place looked really nice otherwise and I’m sure the food would have been great.

Horrible service, food was cold, hair in my eggs. We mentioned these things when we paid our check. The girl didn’t even make eye contact much less offer a discount or even an apology. Won’t ever return.

Best breakfast in town. I wish they opened early. Get there before they open(8am)cause there will be a line. The pancakes 🥞 were huge, and the breakfast bowl was delicious. Really good, made to order, fresh breakfast. I will be back.

I got the chicken fried steak sandwich, which was a thinner, smaller piece of steak than even small chain places. It was tough & slightly burnt. My wife's bacon cheeseburger was bland & dry. The fries however were pretty good. We may have caught them on a bad day, but we weren't impressed.

Our server was very sweet & gave us a warm welcome. My scrambled eggs were ok. Biscuits, not all that. Hubby had an omelet with jalapeños & said it was good. Very quick service.
