Pulled a very long hair out of the mayo in our shrimp po boy.

Not sure what was happening in the kitchen but! Our waitress forgot our appetizer and our food
Was brought an hour from placing our Order, then she brought our appetizer out with our main course. I had to ask the front desk for a Togo box and a refill! Not impressed at all!!!

Overall experience so far is i cant even describe it. Took so long for the food I could of ordered a pizza and it would have arrived to me quicker. Wish I could actually give a proper review and actually taste the food. For a sit down restaurant you sure do alot of sitting and no eating. On top of it all for a place that has a outside seating arrangement with most of your seating outside. They sure are unprepared not having any propane for the upcoming season.

After a hour long wait I wish I could say anything good. Food was a mix of mainly cold and some slightly warm. Its like they sat our food on the side and let it get cold. Its as if they waited to get all the food out at once. That just ended up making us wait even more.i dont understand why there is souvenirs for a place i dont want to remember.And a little heads up if you want to have some of their signature cold fried catfish I say give it a try.

Really bizarre experience. Went one day when the wait for pizza was insanely long. There was hardly anyone here but we were seated instantly. Service was good. Chicken tenders fries and Mac was delicious. Was wondering what was wrong with the place. Returned a couple of days later and it was slightly busier. Plenty of empty tables but was informed there was a wait. OK I just figured there wasn't enough waitstaff so we waited... like idiots... they never sat us. I went back and inquired. We appeared to be next on the list. Hostess claimed to be calling the next guests on the list. Said it should be soon especially if no one answered.. we just left. They never called. Wild. They really dont want to serve people here. You'd be better off cooking your own food.

I was excited to try The Blue Rooster as it came highly recommended. I was slightly disappointed in the wait time as there were 10ish tables available. The hostess was sort of lazy and did not do much. There is no changing table for babies. We ordered and it took quite awhile to get our food. Only to realize that the food wasn’t even hot, definitely was either waiting awhile or just microwaved. We had the avocado fried and grilled salad, the lettuce was only shredded lettuce and it was a poor amount. The Mac n cheese was sticky and not warm. The chicken and dumplings were good. The bologna sand-which was very thin and tiny. Over all, it was okay, not a place I’d come back too.

Highly recommend this restaurant in town! Food and service were great. One of the best chicken sandwiches i've had.

Food was DELICIOUS the chef even came out and checked on us even though it was super busy, menu said our food wouldn’t be ready for 25 minutes which was kinda weird  but they had it out WAY before then. Super older restaurant, the walls actually falling down in the restroom but it was surprisingly clean.

Neat place to take a large bunch. They were out of some items on the menu and perhaps a little short on staff but the environment is relaxed with large tables and a cool outdoor area too. Loved seeing people with their pets out there!
