It never fails to astound me that the higher place is rated the more likely the food is to be terrible. And this particular case I allowed the reviews to sway me, and after parking my truck went in for breakfast. I had the Buffalo steak and eggs, the buffalo steak, in case anyone isn’t aware, is more or less a hamburger patty. It was tough, bland, dry and had no redeeming qualities. Steak sauce perhaps would’ve helped a little, but after dropping my food the waitress vanished not to be seen again until she dropped the check on my table. And for this miserable meal, I was charged $23. I have been a driver for over a decade and have eaten at restaurants all across this country, this is 1 of 4 that will stick in my memory because of how unpleasant it was. Edit: I did stop here once again to give it another try. And the Cherokee restaurant has redeemed itself in my eyes. Even though I just went for a basic burger and onion rings everything was good and filling. This time I was quite pleased. So I’m bumping all of my ratings and I will again stop here in the future.

Either I was too hungry and my judgment was impaired or this place has amazing food for a diner style restaurant. Salad bar was fresh and delicious, the fried pickles were perfect, the Ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfectly, usually steaks get over cooked this was exactly medium rare. The food is of high quality, servers were very friendly as well.
