Meh very 50s reminds me of spangles in Kansas food was meh I didn’t realize they switched suppliers lol I thought it was us foods oh well waitress was a nice lady friendly people we stopped here thought we would try it on the way to Arkansas for a mini vacation
It was an amazing hamburger and I am really blessed to come to this small town. I will be stopping in every time I go to the Lake. Service was nice and prompt, food was fresh and hot. They live up to the name of Boomarang dinner!

My family and I had the best dinner experience tonight. It was a pretty busy Monday night and most of the tables were full. We were checked on several times, everything brought out quickly and was delicious. We frequent here often and nights like these are the reason. I would absolutely recommend others to go too!
Kid-friendliness: My boys enjoy doing the activities on the paper sheets they give out with the kids menu on it and the little baskets their food comes in.

From Nashville to Nowhere: My Oklahoma Diner Experience:
As a Nashville native, I’m used to Southern hospitality, good food, and sweet tea so sugary you’ll be remind of your insulin treatment. So, when I rolled into Boom-A-Rang in Checotah, Oklahoma, I thought I’d found a charming roadside gem. Boy, was I right!
Atmosphere: "Stuck in the ‘50s and Proud of It". The place looked like a mix between a my grandmothers hunting cabin and the best flea market in the South. Mismatched chairs, faded checkered tablecloths, and a jukebox older than Willie Nelson. It had that "vintage" vibe, but not in a bad way—in more of a “we forgot to renovate since 1975” kind of way, and I for one loved it.
Service: "Bless Her Heart Was Not The Case”. The servers moved at a pace that would make a cheetah pale to a NASCAR driver. When I asked for anything, both my servers said, “Be back in 0.5 seconds and if we’re out I’ll drive to the State Capitol if you need it”.
The Food offered "More Answers Than Questions". The sausage breakfast sandwich was a honor to eat. An homage to pigs everywhere. The toast was thick, perfectly golden, and had the ability to not let one drop of grease leave the vessel.
Drinks: "The Coffee That Didn’t Betray Me”. I ordered coffee, thinking, “Surely, they can’t mess this up.” Oh, and they did not. It was as if someone showed the coffee a picture of sugar from across the room and called it a day. One sip, and I felt caffeinated and possibly pregnant.
Final Thoughts… Will I be back? Maybe.. But if you want a story about classic atmosphere and fantastic service to recant over drinks one day at some dumbass dinner party or your kids stupid soccer game, this place delivers. 10 stars for the staff!

While on a motorcycle day trip, four of us stopped at Boomerang in Checotah. I ordered the Elvin Omelette that is three eggs with bacon sausage and cheese. When we finally get our food, my omelette wreaks of jalapenos. I do not and cannot eat jalapenos! I opened up the omelette and it was packed with jalapenos. I sent it back and asked for a refund as it was taking 20 - 30 minutes to get food, everyone else would be finished eating by the time I would have gotten my food.

Have ordered pick up orders 3 times from here. Each time they forgot one whole meal. I usually am pretty understanding and mistakes happen but every single time is ridiculous.

They have a different variety of selections to choose from and also they have tea you can get root beer floats water Dr pepper and they have half-price burgers on Mondays depending on what you're looking for they got spicy Junior Burger they also can do gluten-free options and also they have hamburgers cheeseburgers just depends on what you're looking for in different types of salads you could also get which is very depending on what you want and what you're going to get and what you're in the mood for I know the rent Burger is pretty good but they also have other selection of burgers to choose from just depends on what type of burger you want to get
