Chicken fried chicken, all batter fell off the chicken....the chicken itself was not seasoned, but the batter was , the salad was icey and mostly core with inripened tomatoes, my feiend had green beans with no flavor, but pinto beans were good! She was not happy with her chicken fried chicken, either!Our waitress was nice, efficient, and happy! I definitely felt out of place and received many stares. My name is Sallie, and I dined at Sallie's. I suggest you try for yourself. However, I will not go back!

This cafe has a wonderful small town diner atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful and our breakfast was great. My husband had eggs over medium and I had a veggie omelette, we both had English muffins & hash browns. The coffee was good. The laughter from a group of locals was contagious. We would definitely go there again if we were in the area. It was certainly worth getting off the Interstate.
