I have been coming to this lovely little place since 2006 or 07 and it is a favorite of mine when I'm in town. There is a vibe here of community that comes with a small town where folks warm up to you pretty quick if you're nice. All the same, you can stare at your ashtray too, and no one will bother you. I talk too much, but these folks are great, and for a young guy like me at 44, I appreciate the wisdom from the military veterans who frequent the establishment. Makes you feel at home.If you want music, they use AMI so get the app. The machine takes cash if that is more your thing, but the app allows you to skip those "Drown yourself" songs and put on Metallica. Just saying. Cool part is that it is attached to The Walnut Inn, so if you're an OTR driver or just stopping by, a bed in the hotel is an option.
