Myself and the wife have eaten here a few times and we keep coming back because of the good food, service and atmosphere. She enjoyed here club sandwich and mashed potatoes, while I had and enjoyed a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, cream gravy and corn.
Gosh I used to love this place. Don’t get me wrong. Their food is still amazing but the service and lack of any customer service training leaves a lot to be desired. We used to have outstanding wait service here but they most have had some turnover because the last 2 times we’ve dined in it was not a great experience. Again, if you’re ok with that the food is definitely worth it.
I hadn't tried A&E in the months that I had been back in Chickasha. So, a visit was definitely in order. I can't say that they are a destination restaurant. But, if you're here, they are worth a visit.
I had their Hickory Burger. It was a juicy burger with just a bit too little BBQ sauce for my tastes. The real negative was the shredded lettuce. Pre-processed lettuce is convenient. But, it carries a food poisoning risk that is unnecessary...
