Small but gives that home vibe, like a Cracker Barrel but more homey. They stay pretty busy, the 1st 2 times we been here was fantastic, delicious this last time though, day after thanksgiving. Very busy which is understandable and not an issue. our issues were with our waitress not sure if she was just having a bad day but from the moment we sat down we felt rushed. I asked for a coffee, never got it but was charged, my husband stated the coffee was gross anyway and didn’t drink it, ordered a half pound double burger very delicious, Very juicy, chili cheese tots look disgusting, me and my three year-old‘s eggs were severely overcooked, plates were damn near melting because they were left under the heated lamp for too long when the food runner brought our plates, she threw them onto the table because they were a “burning her arms”, tea tasted like dish soap, chocolate milk was watered down and not very chocolatey, sausage was still pink. we may return, but only if we can have the original girl we had the first two visits.

Long time Chickasha staple as far as go to places! However the last several times I’ve been there I have been either met with poor attitude, poor service, or a mess of both like this morning. First thing to note is that the prices on the menu are all outdated prices and are not the prices you are charged once you arrive to get your order. Be prepared for prices 20% to 40% more. They also don’t tell you the price or total when you place the order over the phone and If you try and order online the link takes you to a third-party site that does not recognize them as a place to be ordered from. Had I known that the good morning special was a few dollars more than it was advertised I would’ve chosen probably a Denver omelette or something different rather than a ham and cheese omelette with toast for $8.00. Also when the order was placed the waitress asked me if I wanted biscuits and gravy as my side or toast, I chose biscuits and gravy. Upon arrival she told me I’m sorry I was busy and I forgot that doesn’t come with biscuits and gravy so I shouldn’t have offered that, so you only got toast, then she acted like it was my problem and I should’ve known better?! I asked well since you offered biscuits and gravy would you not be willing to honor that since it was a mistake on your part? I was quickly met with a side eye stare and tone of annoyance as she rang the order. When I asked for an itemized receipt she said that they don’t have an itemized receipts it’s only the total amount credit card slip. I kindly explained that I would not be reimbursed from work without an Itemized receipt. That’s when I got the long exasperated sigh, another side eye stare and her apparent frustration of having to walk over to a coworker on the line 3 feet away to ask her how to print an Itemized receipt from the POS system. Also, a few weeks ago I called at 7:48 PM they close at 8:00, I was hoping to get a quick BLT or club sandwich whichever was easier and didn’t inconvenience them since they were closing in 15 minutes, The waitress answered the phone and before a hello or thanks for calling she said I’m sorry but we stopped taking to go orders 15 minutes before we close. To which I replied then maybe you should post that somewhere on your website then. So not sure what is going on there and it’s been a long time staple here in town it just seems like the attitude and customer service has gone way down and well like everything else the prices have gone through the roof! It has certainly made me look around for other greasy spoon places for Sunday morning breakfast and after today this may be my last time honestly. Enjoy but it’s not what it used to be be any means.
When I opened my food come to find out the hashbrowns were slimy not well done/crispy as requested and the omelette was busted open. I returned, requested a refund and it’s definitely the last time I’ll be going there! I would recommend JW Grill as an alternative!

Yes I was one of two today nov 11 2pm. Got here after rush several groups leaving as we sat at the last open table. After a while after ordering noticed the couple finishing eating that ordered at the same time as us. Questioned the waitress who said yours is on the way out minutes, after minutes, after minutes passed and still no food yet food kept coming out of kitchen and to our surprise it was going to all five tables that came in after we ordered and they all got their food but us still no. Asked for the manager on 3 occasions and she refused to come speak with us. I asked at several points what is going on? and nothing but I heard the manager from the back tell a waitress comp their order and tell them its on its way out waited another 7 minutes after this and still no food our waitress kept looking at us like i have no idea and finally came over and said they made one of the lunches wrong which is total BS cause for 15 minutes after we questioned where our order was all we kept getting was its on its way out. after the 40 minute mark we finally just had to get up and leave cause you guessed it food never came out. If someone would have been honest about what was going on or the manager had the professionalism to come out and explain anything to us we could have accepted this better. At the time we left every table except 1 had been served their lunch except us. we ordered the chicken bites and a chicken fried chicken in what world could not have been not only cooked in the 40 minutes that we sat there and before 5 other tables received their food that arrived after us and order after us. Most unprofessional manage and horrible make any excuse service that I have received anywhere. I will address this on every review site and will tell every college that I have of this horrendous service

Just love the Fried Catfish and fresh cut fries. The catfish is really catfish. It’s super clean, never a dark area. The best Catfish I’ve had in Central Oklahoma. Also have tried the Indian Taco in Tuesday special. Both are delicious. Also the prices are very reasonable.
Dietary restrictions: No salt catfish and fries isn’t any problem here. Husband is heart patient and this is the only catfish dinner he can have. Thank you Mama Carol’s for preparing it without Salt
