A Lil hard to find gem!! The BEST Coffee Anywhere, fantastic food, and the service is ON Top of It at all times. I can't say enough about this place!! Oh, and its a fantastic value too!!! Anytime I'm nearby I will b sure to make Fred's Cafe 29 a priority stop! I didnt try the pie but I suspect it will not disappoint! 🥧☕️

Thankful that you can still find a thriving diner in rural OKC, and a good one. I had the best cooked sunny-side-up eggs ever! Also, they have a lot of room so don't get turned off if there are a lot of cars parked...and the service won't fail!

We ate at Fred's for the first time today after living around the corner for 25 years. Super fast service and perfectly cooked chicken fried stake. Didn't get much attention from server although it was adequate. We could smell the pot shop a couple doors down but overall, great experience and we will be back.

This is a hidden restaurant in the rural area outside OKC. We went for Catfish AYCE Friday night dinner. We had a family crowd so many dishes were chosen besides the catfish.
Everyone was pleased with their meals and the size of their portions. The presentation and taste of all meals were good. My catfish dinner was large strips of fresh crispy catfish. The sides offered for the meals were numerous choices and tasty. Most impressive being the huge battered fried onion rings.
The waitress was awesome. She was friendly and attentive even though she was busy with other customers. Her positive attitude made our experience even better.
This is a good old café. The traditional diner with boothes and tables n chairs scattered leaving space to maneuver. Our party was sat in a private dining room still sharing with other customers. The noise level was mild so we were able communicate easily with each other.

You should be eating breakfast here, lunch options are not their specialty. Breakfast food is consistent and good, what you'd expect from an old school diner. Service is just average with most of the servers being fairly grouchy and overworked. A note to fellow diners, at this seat yourself diner there are people waiting at peak times, please check before seating yourself. Been here many times where people walk in and seat themselves in front of others that have been waiting for 10 mins.

Great place for a quick meal. Had breakfast and it was decent. Service was quick. Waitresses did a good job, but we're not what I would call friendly. No smiles, just efficient. Place was busy with older people and workers. Tells you it's decent and reasonably priced at least for breakfast!
