Tasty Burger – Monday Lunch To-Go Experience
I stopped by Tasty Burger on Monday to pick up lunch to take home so my wife, kiddo, and I could eat together. I had heard good things and was looking forward to it, but unfortunately the experience didn’t go as expected.
After placing my to-go order, I waited over 30 minutes. During that time, 5+ people who came in after me ordered, received their food, and left before my order was ready. My order was simple three burgers and three orders of fries so the delay was surprising. It honestly felt like orders may have been coming out of the kitchen out of sequence.
After about 20 minutes, I mentioned the wait to the person who checked me out. They were very apologetic, which I appreciated, but the order still took quite a while after that.
Because of the 30+ minute wait, I didn’t get the chance to actually sit down and enjoy lunch with my wife and kiddo like I had planned. Instead, I had to scarf my food down quickly so I could get back to work.
When the food finally came out, I asked if I could speak with a manager just to understand what may have happened, but I was told the manager was too busy at the time.
I understand restaurants can get busy and things happen, but communication and keeping orders moving in the right sequence makes a big difference, especially for customers picking up food to go. If you’re planning to visit Tasty Burger, you may want to allow extra time or consider going somewhere else.

This is a good place to eat that isn't fast food. Burger are good but don't like toasted buns. Fries are good to.

We go here frequently. Sometimes you wait a long time, but it depends on day, time, and if anything is happening nearby, like sports or something in Choctaw. But everything is homemade and it is not fast food, but worth it!

If y’all ever want to adventure out and eat a delicious burger with an old small town feeling, Tasty Burger in Choctaw Oklahoma is the place to visit. Service is great, fries are cut from real potatoes in the restaurant, let’s not mention the serving of them you get. Burgers had fresh produce & came out nice and hot. Definitely worth the drive.

Great chicken sandwich and burgers. The Cajun fries are spicy and the curly fries are not!
Ordered 2 daily specials and waited over an hour for 2 hamburger meals . Also it was hot in dining area like if the a/c doesn't work as it should.

The food was excellent! I'm not exaggerating when I say that was the best burger I've had in years. This isn't fast food, you are going to wait, but it's worth it. I gave the one star on the atmosphere because you've got no cool pictures on the wall or music playing.
