Really good small town breakfast cafe. Portion sizes are huge! My brother ordered a side of bacon, had to be almost a half pound! I ordered the Corned Beef Hash, which was good but not great, eggs were cooked perfectly. Brother said Biscuits and Gravy were really good. Very reasonably priced!

Note: Cash only, they do have an ATM.

Recommend!

Not as good as it used to be. They have definitely changed the ham. It used to be best ham ever! Now it's just disappointing.

The food is terrible. Absolutely no flavor at all. We won't be going back.

This establishment desperately needs a make over, the decor is dated, dusty, and in desperate need for new furnishings. The booths that are attached to the walls have food crammed into the crevice that hasn't even seen a cleaning. The chairs are cracked and ripped open woth stuffing exposed. The health department needs to be called, the server we had hadn't brushed her teeth, clothes were stained and reeked of body odor. Eggs benedict served on a raw English muffin, 1/4" ham steak smothered in CHEESE sauce from a can. Please remove from menu, couldn't possibly butcher it further. Chicken fried steak all gristle, german home fries?!?! Burnt mash on a grill. Please do not go her if you value Osha guidelines for food service AT ALL!!! The violations are abundant and I have never been a worse establishment in my life....

Very dissatisfied. The breakfast potato’s were absolutely flavorless and more like a soggy baked potato, eggs had zero flavor, and steak wasn’t worth eating. The only thing we ate during the meal with amy flavor was the packaged jelly which helped to choke down the cold soggy toast. I could go on… but you get the picture. Probably the worst dining experience I remember.

Breakfast Food was just mediocre ar best. My scrambled eggs were not whipped properly before cooking. You should never see egg whites in scrambled eggs. The french toast ( you only get one slice and its small) was just bread coated with flavorless egg. Where is the cinnamon? The German potatoes are not my thing I guess. Lumpy hard potato pieces is not my idea of a breakfast food. Biscuits are moist but the gravy is just average with pepper overriding the gravy flavor. My husband said the same about his food. Nothing to write home about and I was super disappointed. For the money spent, I would expect better. If you are going to just get a large amount of food and don’t care about flavor/cooking then this is your place.

Food was good. Our waitress was not very good. She acted like we were an inconvenience to her. The other waitress that came over to help us was AMAZING!!! Went to pay and she said cash or check but no sign stating that when you walk in so you have to pay 2.50 to get money out.

Stopped in here recently for breakfast and ordered 3 eggs and sausage it came with hash browns and choice of toast or biscuits and gravy. The portions were very large with lots of potatoes, they are actually not a true hash brown type that I'm used to, they are what i believe are German fried potatoes but they were good. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was done quickly after placing my order.

$37 for two people. Oh and the $2.590 atm fee. Never refilled coffee. If the older lady doesn’t want to be there then maybe don’t? Because your attitude is kind of ridiculous. guess the food gets good reviews because they pile enough on your plate for 4 people, 3/4 of which is burnt. They cook the pancakes in a bacon greased skillet so if you like bacon grease flavored pancakes and burnt everything you’re golden. I remembered why I don’t go there.

Gravy was mid. Obviously from a mix. Sausage could be browned more than it was, and not just put on top of the gravy (that doesn't make it sausage gravy). Sausage gravy would have been made from sausage grease and bits, and would not just taste like milk gravy. The biscuit didn't hold together well. There was a lot of it though.

I would suggest sticking to breakfast. The breakfast is great. They really need a sign to let people know they don't take credit or debit cards though. It is a cash only business.
