The food is good, the coffee is excellent, and the waitstaff is great. I’m not a fan of the queso, but I like the other food they serve.

The parking lot is full every time I drive by. Figured it was a good time to see what the fuss was about. We were greeted and seating within a few minutes. Chips and drink order were taken almost as soon as we were seated. So far this place has high marks. We ordered and enjoyed the chips and salsa. I always seem to finish my first glass of whatever pretty quickly. So my glass being empty instead of that unusual. But when everyone else's glass went empty and we hadn't seen our waitress since she took our order. She finally appeared from the back when our food was ready. She did get us refills as soon as she dropped the food off. My girlfriend and son both had tacos which they said were good and enjoyed. The beans we all had were flavorless. The chicken in my dish was under seasoned and the queso sauce was unimpressive at best. I'm going to give this place another shot and see if it wasn't just an off night though.

We needed a fix of Tex Mex. Good choice. I had a tamale plate. Great flavors, not reeking of cilantro (l have the gene that makes it soapy tasting). Fresh was the pervasive theme of the meal-warm chips, totally pleasant salsa, not too spicy, just clean flavors. Service was attentive and courteous. I think Paul liked his plate as. Well. I was too busy chowing down on my tamales to notice! Beans were creamy with a smooth texture. Ran out of time to go back.
