First time here and had the Chicken Enchiladas with rice and beans. First came the salsa AND queso with chips. Salsa was delicious, little watery but had that little kick that made you want more and the chips were good as well. The queso was very similar in taste and texture to the canned cheese sauce you get at a high school football game on your nachos, disappointing. The Chicken Enchiladas came with red sauce and cheese on top, a little side of lettuce and diced tomato, and rice and beans. The Enchiladas were really good. Very flavorful. The 2 ladies working were very attentive as well. Will make this a stop on my through Clinton from now on.

Worst service i ever had at a restaurant. Waitress was very rude and disrespectful. There was a $1 menu item in small letters at the front desk. Which i understand with the rising food prices. She did not not have to have such a mean attitude when i asked her about it. And by yhe way the food was horrible and nasty tasting.

Omg this place surprised me! Flavor is spectacular! They know how to use seasonings! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean inside! Fast service! Nice little side place to stop and enjoy some great Mexican food!

Really good Mexican food. We enjoyed our meal and our waitress was top-notch.Kids in our group enjoyed real Coca Cola in glass bottles. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I might add that the servings are really big! I couldn't finish everything & since we were about 2 hours from home & had other stops to make, I didn't think that a go box would work for me.The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the salsa. It was quite sweet and not very spicy, but I ate it. The chips were sooo thin and crispy...just delicious. The guacamole was quite tasty too. One person in our group asked for a spicier salsa and was given a salsa verde that tasted good, but definitely was hot for my tastebuds.I am sure we will visit this restaurant again.

Great service and even better food. Every part of this hand crafted meal was so far beyond my hopes for quality I brought a year to my eye.Thank you for the best Chile rellenos I have had in a long time.

I moved here from Houston about 6 months ago. I had not been able to venture out to see what all the restaurants around here were like, so this place was my first one to try... First of all, the chips and salsa were something I had NEVER seen before. What's with the cheese?? Chips and Salsa means exactly that, anyway...then there's the salsa. What they served as "salsa" was merely sugared tomato sauce....??? eeew why? Okay, so I place my order and chose to go with their Fajita Shrimp Sizzler Plate and a side of two fajita street tacos. I asked the waitress..."these are BEEF fajitas right?" she said yes. When my food comes back, my tacos were filled with this dried chicken breast, bell peppers and unions on a flour tortilla. There were so many things wrong with that. First, I asked for BEEF FAJITA...secondly, street tacos DO. NOT. have bell peppers on them. Just raw onion and cilantro on corn tortilla with sautéed onions and grilled jalapeños on the side. I'm pretty upset at this point. I kindly requested to have them sent back because it wasn't what I ordered. She offered to have them corrected and she did...but it was now some beef strip thing with the same bell peppers and sautéed onions. Ugh, at this point I just want to eat...so I give them a try. The onions had a rancid taste to them. Like what a dingy dish rag would taste like if you actually tasted it. This place is beyond horrible.

We been here a lot, we used to love it until about 5 years ago, but now we decided to try it again and it was pretty good. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the past. However we'll be back and if it's still good next time I'll adjust this accordingly.

For years this was the go-to spot for my mother and I. We went at least once a week. She had a stroke a few years back and I've only been twice since. Tonight was the first time in over a year. Myself and my kids went to celebrate my son's first paycheck. Place had a decent amount of people, but not packed. Several waitresses working. Got our orders in and drinks etc and everything went pretty well. The cheese dip was very watery and not to their usual standard. My young son ate 3 bowls of it, so he obviously enjoyed it but nobody else ate any really so I asked for queso. The queso was FOUL. Literally nobody would eat it and for like $7/ bowl that's a real shame, but . . . not the biggest deal. We just left it on the table. Everything else went well. Drink refills were slow but did get refilled. Got the bill. Fair warning . . . They charge a fee if you don't pay cash. Also not the biggest deal, but still kinda gross since our bill was over $90. About the time I signed the ticket my son went to take a drink of his soda and found a bug floating in it. Disgusting, right? I didn't make a huge scene, but when the waitress came to get my signed ticket I told her it was there and they need to check their cups and fountain. Her response was "oh, really?". It would've been different (maybe) if I had asked for a refund. I didn't. She just literally didn't act surprised or care at all. I honestly think they know it's an issue and are serving them anyways. So Yeah . . . That is me super grossed out and regretting my choice to come tonight. So I look at his drink and see another bug stuck to the inside of the glass. I fished it out and took it to her and said look here another one that's really disgusting. She says "oh" and turns around and walks away. No apology, no sign of anything but that I was a nuisance. At that point I was completely disgusted and ready to throw up. We turned around and left, told the table next to us to check their drinks and we WILL NOT be back. God knows how many bugs we all drank tonight. I have been sick to my stomach since and praying we don't get sick. Somebody needs to get the health inspector in here.
