As a truck driver I use door dash to get food brought out to the truck stop and in areas I’m unfamiliar with I never know how the food is gonna taste well today I tried this place and listen this is some of the best food I’ve had away from home as a truck driver EVER! taste like it came straight off my grandmothers dinner table

This place is amazing. Met a really sweet young lady that has similar stories to our situation. The food was great, service was exceptional and food came out in a timely manner. I will be revisiting after my dr appts.

I’ve gotten food from here a few times but last week I ordered 2 chicken fried steak dinners and fried green tomatoes to go. The chicken fried steaks were fried until they were dark brown resulting in really tough tasteless meat. The tomatoes tasted like there were fried in old oil. We were really disappointed in the food. They need to step it up if they are going to compete with their competitors.

I was in the area from out of town, needing a lunch place. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and eating out is hard. Needless to say, I didn’t have a lot of hope in such a small town. But I was more than pleasantly surprised! Lots of options listed on the menu, plus they let us know if we call ahead, they’ll make special items gluten free, including pie! Super friendly, nice comfy atmosphere that had lots of historical character, and good food. Can’t wait to visit again when I’m in the area again!

The food was delicious, the only problem I saw was they only had 1 server and it was very busy. They needed more wait staff. The waitress was very friendly and courteous she was just too busy. I would recommend for people to eat there, but they need more help.
