Gibbys South in Your Mouth

This was my first visit. I loved rhe bread and the macaroni and cheese. The catfish was ok. I don't like anything spicy so I'm probably not the best judge. We were with a large party and it took a long while to get our food. If you love Cajun food, this might be your spot.

First timer here I have to say it is the best place to eat. Lexi our service was excellent she was kind, knowledgeable when it came to the food. The food was top notch!! The flavor profiles was beyond my expectations if you want the best cajun food in Oklahoma this is definitely the place!!

I eat here at least once a week. Service is always top notch even when they are just which it all the time. The food wonderful. You got to try their mac and cheese.

Gibbys is one of our favorite restaurants to take friends and family to. They have a plethora of foods to satisfy anyone’s appetite. My wife and I heard about Gibbys when they were located in Collinsville and tried them out. The owner, Gibby, is one of the nicest people that you could ever meet. Her staff is friendly and hard working. I highly recommend the Bourbon Burger! Oh my! It’s that good. When we heard about how good their steak fillets were, we had to try it. It surpasses steaks that we’ve had from a number of top steakhouse chains in Tulsa and the surrounding areas! Their shrimp cocktail was also quite the treat! We have NEVER had a bad experience (other than parking…lol). I recently read where a couple of “guests” were rude and ugly to a couple of Gibbys staff employees causing tears etc. We have all experienced having a bad day or having our stress levels peak due to many different reasons but it is NEVER acceptable to take it out on anyone else, even if they do make a mistake on your order. How do you know what Gibbys staff personnel may have been going through (sick child, divorce, loss of a loved one). They are also human beings with feelings. Those incidents will be a long lasting reminder of just how ugly people can be! Shame on them! I applaud Gibbys attitude for listening to both sides of misunderstandings and highly respect her standing firm supporting her staff! That’s just one of the signs of a great manager!

First time in, we wont be back. Waitress forgot we were there, we had to remind her of our drinks. My fries were cold & stale, like they were made last week. The shrimp was actually good, but the rest of the po boy was a soggy inedible mess. We were really disappointed.

We came in for a late lunch (5 of us). Greeted and seated immediately. My son and his wife shared a steak entree which they said was perfect. My wife had a shrimp cocktail and red beans and rice, my sister had a burger with red beans and rice, while I had the Bayou Grits. The Bayou Grits had cheese grits topped with catfish, crawfish, shrimp and andoulle sausage. That entree was very good. Not spicy but very flavorful. Service was excellent.

I’ve been a couple of times. Most recently with my teen who LOVES Cajun food, she enjoyed it so much. She was really blown away at how sweet the waitress was and that she actually sat down and spent time talking to her about the menu and foods to try.

Such a great dining experience! Anessa was attentive, and absolutely knew that menu, all the sauces, drinks and oh man the carrot cake recommendation. Save room or take a slice home! Anessa made the evening a fantastic experience for our entire group!

The food is amazing! The service is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised at their filet! I mean I had tried everything there, except their steak. So I was hesitant because I did not want to be disappointed. The steak was perfect. My favorite is when they do their special, Wagu ravioli with a filet on top! I think one of the best restaurants in Oklahoma and it is in Claremore!
