When we entered, no one offered assistance about seating. There are 3 long tables and you seat yourself where you can fit. After waiting over 45 minutes from when we ordered , we received some of our food. We ordered fries but didn’t receive them. Our burgers were very pink. We were told we didn’t order them ’well done.’ We weren’t given an option. Very disappointed in our experience! We won’t go back.

This has to be one of the best kept secrets around. The Jailhouse Grill serves a Chicken Fried Steak that you can cut with a fork easily. The Cowboy Burger was perfect. Their fries were a delight. All in all, one of the best places we've been to, if you're up for a local place that has great food.
Absolutely best food! Look, this is the best darn little secret burger and more joint!! As an adventurer, I always look for the best hidden, off the main stretch, awesome food joints, and this is definitely one I make a habit of swinging by!! If you haven't been, do it!!Kid-friendliness: Absolutely a top favorite for my daughter! At 5 years old and a fan of the typical "chicken nuggies", this girl said, "Can I have a cheeseburger!" She knows what the Vera Jailhouse Grill is and is always ecstatic to go!!
