I mean, it is what it is. You'll realize that as soon as you walk in. It's not the cleanest place in town. It's the only place! The burgers were good but small. Onion rings were decent. The guy working in the kitchen really needs some clean t-shirts or an apron, please. They are nice people.
Stopped in for a sweet snack and to get my Route 66 passport stamped. The owners were very sweet and loved telling and showing us the history of the spot and since they took over. You will not be disappointed dropping by. Will be back for the food alone.
Was told about this diner being one of the oldest on Route 66. Looks great on the outside, I was a little surprised about how small it is inside. Every square inch has some piece of Americana on it. The menu isn't much, burgers, fries, route 66 cookies and ice cream. The food was ok but the best part was talking with Charles the owner.
