today was my first time to dine at Fites Cafe. Let me tell you, they are not afraid to feed you. I had grilled chicken strips, beans, and green beans. all of it was yummy. we also had fried green tomatoes with Fites sauce, scrumptious! Our waitress, Taylor, was a sweetheart. She was busy with other tables but didn't miss a beat. We highly recommend that you go dine at at Fites Cafe, you won't be disappointed.

Ate here today and it was outstanding! Emily was our waitress, the service was phenomenal! We had the Chicken Fried steak, fried mushrooms, side salads, Loaded mashed potatoes, onion rings, and we had to try the fish. We got free Indian bread with honey as well. It was all fantastic this is our new go to place. Thanks Emily!!

I was rather disappointed this evening. we visited your restaurant about 6PM for dinner. it was busy , but we sat there over twenty minutes and never were acknowledged sitting there. when another couple came in and was immediately served, we decided to go somewhere else to eat. I've been told the food there was really good. unfortunately were not able to find out.

My first visit to Fites and I'm ashamed to say I've lived here 40 years AND it's on "my side of town" -- I'm rural. I attended a meeting of 25-30 people for lunch and a brief meeting where every person ordered and paid for their meal. The waitress we had was simply amazing. She was efficient, checked back to see if we needed anything, worked quietly and I heard no one complain. We were told by our meeting host we were going to be hard on the kitchen asking them to prepare so many different meals at [basically] the same time and please understand if our food was running late. I appreciate being told of any problem ahead of time; mine wasn't even late. I've heard Fites makes a very good breakfast so I ordered an omelet. The flavor was good and the presentation was what you would expect from a home-town cafe. I failed to order my omelet well-done so I can't blame the cook for my omelet being a little undercooked for me. What really surprised me about Fites was the neat and clean interior. The outside of the building has seen renovations with different owners and not always in a positive way; that's the biggest reason I haven't stopped, even after hearing they have good food. The inside has nice flooring, clean walls, nice tables and booths --- not fancy restaurant nice but definitely cleaner than many restaurants I've seen. I will certainly be going back!

The chicken fried steak was the best that I have had in quite some time. The portions are very generous. I finished my lunch for my dinner. The fry bread with honey, makes you want more of it than you should eat. I have had problems getting normal brown beans at most places. They put chilli powder or some other spices in them and it messes them up. Fite's beans have some bacon in them and they were very good. The service was excellent and the environment was friendly. It's a little pricey, but for the quality and quantity that you get it's worth it.

Parking: It's a gravel parking lot. There are several handicap parks.

Kid-friendliness: It's a great place for kids. I noticed that they can draw and color Crayola pictures. They get to post them themselves, which seemed to make one little girl very happy.

Wheelchair accessibility: Several parks in the front of the building and a ramp.
