Late lunch for my brother and I, both heavy eaters. We are not from Coweta nor anywhere nearby. Found this restaurant on Google Maps. Upon entrance the delicious aromas of home cooking were perfect, we were greeted with a kind and friendly voice telling us to help ourselves to a seat. There were two dining areas to select. We choose the larger side. Our waitress provided us the very best service either of us have ever experienced. She was genuinely interested in us leaving with a full belly and happy we ate at Mark's Place. Both were accomplished. We each had dinners of Catfish and shrimp with and ice cold pops. Followed up with baklava. This fish/shrimp was the absolute best any restaurant has ever served. It was hot, fresh, and super crunchy and the hush puppies were anything but quiet, they were so delicious and crunchy too. Homemade cocktail sauce and tartar sauce accompanied both meals. I had mine with tater salad, and my brother had pinto beans.

Omelets had no cheese on inside. Sausage was something which can be purchased at a typical grocery. Biscuits were more like a dinner roll. Gravy seemed to be from a powder. Potato cake was just a joke. Service was subpar. Atmosphere was better.

My fiance ordered the biscuit n sausage gravy I ordered the Spanish omelette with extra American cheese and extra ham with home fries and biscuit n gravy....the food all of it was very very good it's hard for me to find cooking like this iv cooked all my life and i always cook and send out food as if I was cooking for me. The owner which was the cook I didn't know at the time the owner was and is the cook...he got a tip from us I had the the waitress tell the cook the cook I wanted to speak to him told him how well the food was and gave him a tip it wasnt till paying the cashier did we find out the owner
Have never been disappointed in Marks place! Me and my daddy would come here after his chemo treatment and eat and today was the first time I had been back in 4 years and it’s still delicious! The owner was doing the cooking and let me tell ya, if you want to please your taste buds as well as your tummy, you need to visit this place!! I gave a 4 star on service instead of a five because our waitress had a little bit of attitude when my boyfriend specified to use American cheese instead of sharp cheddar but other than that it was amazing!

Best breakfast I've had in years, I've eaten at several different places lately and been disappointed! Service was wonderful, Debbie was so nice! She got everything out exactly how we ordered it and cooked to perfection! We even came kinda late for breakfast, but it was all so fresh and good! We'll be back soon! Oh yeah and I almost forgot to mention the prices were so cheap, the food was worth far more than the cost!!
