This place would be a 5 star if it was constantly consistent. Crawfish is the best but I prefer it getting coated with seasoning so ask for extra dusting of the dry seasoning. The shrimp is the best shrimp in Tulsa sometimes. When I go on Mondays it is the best shrimp ever. But other days it’s overcooked and dry. It’s either the best crawfish and shrimp one day then next it’s just average. So remember on weekdays Monday is the best for some reason. Down to earth chill owner.

After reading the rave reviews and being from Cajun Country I was excited to try the food. Drove an hour and a half one way to get a home fix only to be disappointed.I got the 3lb crawfish special only to find that about a half a pound to a pound was uneatable. Had about 5-6 just heads, 8 were just plain mushy, and about 10 weee dead before boiling, if you grew up eating crawfish you know. There was no sausage only one small corn and two small potatoes. I was asked which sauce well Cajuns know there only one. The butter wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t melted completely..I will say the Boudin Balls were excellent and we truly enjoyed them. My boyfriend got the boiled shrimp and it wasn’t bad but both boils could’ve had more seasoning. The staff was all smiles but no one came to the table to check on us and if the food was good. Even leaving no one said anything.I don’t think I’ll go back. Craving Crabs, NOLAs and Krazy Krabs in Tulsa I’ve found have a closer to home taste.I wish T Johnnys well but it wasn’t worth my drive.

Great people, great great food, they take care of you
I have been several times now and never let down. Being from Louisiana it brought back down home cooking memories. The boudin balls and links are perfect and so are the crawfish and meat pies. Etoufee was very good and pretty much traditional taste that my family loves. The butter that comes with the shrimp is so amazing. I think yall need to name it voodoo butter lol. Enjoyed my Caluda's king cake as well. Always a place I go when I come in town. If you want authentic cajun food this is the place to go.
