As usual I stopped by this place because it was lunch time and I was hungry. Although not a negative,the place is small with less than 20 tables. I was seated immediately and seated and served the standard chip, salsa and queso but none was anything to brag about. I ordered a Shrimp cocktail, whole grilled jalapeno and a flan for dessert. The shrimp cocktail was delicious paired with the whole grilled jalapeno. The desert Flan was also excellent but a lot on the small side....
Got the fajita nachos and they were so soggy you couldn’t even lift the chip. I had to scrap the top off and put it on a chip from the table.
Kept my drink full but didn’t check on how the food was or bring a ticket. We didn’t know where to pay but ended up just walking to the front and paid there. They didn’t know how to split the check so it took awhile to check out.

We were passing through Crescent City and stopped at El Palmo for an early dinner. The Camarones a la Diabla had the right amount of heat and depth of flavor. Delicious!!! Great service topped off our experience.
