After we were seated we were never offered a drink chips or even acknowledged so we left after 15 minutes
Food is good and everyone knows it so expect a long wait, usually 45 minutes or so. Make reservations. ?
Stopped in here at 2:00pm on a Friday. Place was empty. Food was ok and the service was really good. Nothing special to set them apart from any other Mexican restaurant. Chips, salsa , and queso were tasty. We wanted to go to their sports bar, which is in the same building, but it was closed. No draw beer in the restaurant , only bottles. The building is old and dark, but clean w/ kind of a cool vibe. I will probably give it another chance if I come back through.
We were driving through Cushing at lunch time and decided to try Rodolfo's. Although the restaurant was busy, there was no wait to be seated and we were served quickly. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the chips and salsa and the chicken quesadillas were good. Prices are reasonable.
Went there for dinner, it wasn't that busy and we had to wait forever to be seated. Waitresses were friendly, food is ok. Not worth the wait.
I have been there for lunch and dinner. I love everything on the menu but if I had to pick one it would probably be the chicken quesadillas or chicken enchiladas with the sour cream sauce. Also love the salsa, almost as good as another place in town but not quite!
The food was better than we expected based on the looks of the restaurant from the outside. It was dark inside. No windows and everything painted black.
Rodolfo's is the best Mexican food in Cushing--since there are several and I've eaten at them all. I have always had adequate service and appreciate them keeping the chip bowl full. Food is pretty good for a small town restaurant. I wish they'd turn on more lights in there. Enjoyed the fajita quesadilla but refried beans-not so much.
Even considering other restaurants I enjoy visiting in OKC and Tulsa due to the ambiance, I seriously prefer the fajitas at Rodolfo's! I have a feeling that any negative ratings for this restaurant are from an old established restaurant in Cushing that hates any competitors. Daniel, the owner is very serious about quality food and service.
Unfriendly, inattentive service. Salsa was flavorless and entree was way too salty and just plain gross. I honestly couldn't finish my lunch and I was hungry. Go to Taco Mayo if you want better Mexican.
Restaurantji Recommends
We always enjoy our meals at Rodolfo's. Food is always good and served promptly. Wait staff is generally very good and friendly. We have never had a problem while eating there a number of times. We can recommend Rodolfo's as a good place to eat and everything is reasonably priced.
To meet with friends, drink, and visit, Rodolfo's can't be beaten. The Mexican food is a gamble, some days it's really good, some days it's not good at all.
When we walked in, the restaurant was very smoky. There was stuff on the floor under the tables. The waitress took our orders and our food was delivered pretty fast. I order a chimichanga meal and my husband ordered a burrito meal. Both were good. My margarita was very good. After the waitress took our order, we didn't see her again until she brought our check. She didn't stop and ask if we wanted anything or any dessert. Just dropped the check and said I'll be your cashier and left.
Cool place.. I suggest sitting on the bar side rather than the restaurant side.. Great Tecates ($2 Tuesday's).. Mixed grill with shrimp is my go to.. Pretty damn good food at a decent price.. Not the best Mexican food I've eaten, but good enough for a small town.. Recommend if your close..
