I went in for a simple breakfast but just for breakfast special it is 11.00 outrageous. I decided on biscuit and gravy it was a joke biscuit was ok but gravy was like pure water and no flavor I had to add alot of hot sauce salt to get flavor which didn't do much good bacon no flavor horrible miss Trudi would have never aloud that. 2025 update - Still the best, perfect eggs today, and I'm very picky on how i like it cooked. Tevin cooked my egg to perfection. Love homestead! Best breakfast in town and a special rewards card too.

I really liked the quiet, rustic comfort. Food was good. Service was nice. Nice inviting diner. A faux pa unfortunate comment from the waitresses made the vibe awkward for me. But she was a very good waitress and I tipped her well.

When Trudy was alive, Homestead used to be one of my favorite places to eat breakfast. I'm a Cushing resident now, but several years ago, we would travel from Mannford to eat here. Since she's passed, not so much. Prices used to be great and portions were even better. I understand prices everywhere have went up, but don't raise prices and lower portion sizes. Don't charge me 1.60$ for ranch. Don't give me 15 french fries for 3.25$. And bring back the bowl of Dum-Dum sucker's at the register. It really is the little things that make a place great.
I have contemplated leaving a review for awhile and haven't until today. My daughter and went for breakfast this morning...I paid 27$ for one pancake, 2 sides of fries, biscuits (2) w/ gravy (with a sprinkle of sausage) and 2 sodas...this is crazy to me.
Please bring back the old Homestead, I really want to love it again.

If you are ever in Cushing Ok! Come here to eat! Very friendly “mom and pop” restaurant! The biscuits and gravy AMAZING!! The gravy was not slop grease! It had a light almost sweet flavor!! AMAZING!

People have told me how good this restaurant is and I was looking forward to having a good old fashioned breakfast, the gravy was really thin and lukewarm, had to send back to heat up, I didn’t like the sausage they put in there, my husband got one of the breakfast plates he says it was just ok. They were really busy & it’s loud in there.
