Me and my boyfriend enjoyed Friday night there and were welcomed by the locals. On Saturday night we went back and we’re not allowed to stay. The lady behind the bar with blonde curly hair called my boyfriend the N word and was very disrespectful and off putting. I am so upset that this was our experience since we had such a good night on Friday. This is something no one should experience and I am soooo disappointed in that woman. I’ve tried to call and explain my feelings but the number does not exist anymore. She deserves some punishment for her choose of words towards us.

Guess I was expecting fried pies like Grandma made. Fried in a skillet (with lard). It was my mistake not understanding it was deep fried in vegetable oil. The ingredients was good, but my son & I just couldn’t eat the outside. While trying to eat them they fell apart, soggy. Bought 5 pies but ended up throwing three away. Local raccoons at the campground loved them, vegetable oil & all. Don’t want you to see my review as negative, because many people love this place (per reviews). I just don’t want you to misunderstand fried in skillet vs deep fried. I was talking to two of the campground host one said he loved this place, the other stated he couldn’t get past the deep fried oil taste. Decide for yourself just buy one 1st & make up your own mind. Have a great day

The Arbuckle Fried Pies are great. Always stop in when getting off the interstate from the south. Friendly staff. Maybe a touch expensive.

My family of 20 went to Turner Falls and stopped in the Fried Pie Shop and we were all amazed with how wonderful the pies were!! There is not a pie that is not good! They are all amazingly good!! We will absolutely be back the next time we are in the area!

You have to try the fried pies. Made fresh! It’s a must have if you’re in the area. The line is long, but it’s worth the wait for the fried pies?
