The ambiance is very cafeteria style, so that was my first disappointment when the motto for the place is fine foods... the menus looked ok and the jalapeño cheese balls were yummy but most likely a flash frozen sysco product or equivellent. Ordered a ribeye. my salad came SWIMMING in Bleu cheese dressing so I couldn't even eat it. My Ribeye was ordered Med rare and came out well done and so fatty that after cutting the fat off there left 3 small pieces of choice meat. I sent it back a d though they offered to remake I declined. the people I was with stated that this a new thinner steak and not like what it used to be
Perhaps it's time to switch back. First and last time here.... sorry!

Just went today 2/7/2025 for lunch with my colleagues had a chopped sirloin baked potato and tabouli and cottage cheese. Everything was good except for the meat I ordered it medium well. It came out to me black and as hard as a hockey puck. Had the waitress come over and showed her that it couldn't even be cut by a fork. And she said to me well you have a knife. That's not the my point. You should not have to use anything other than a fork to cut hamburger meat. This is not the first bad experience I've had with Josephs. And I have given them the benefit of the doubt. But I will never eat there again. And I will tell others about my experience and let them decide weather or not to give them a try. I was a butcher for many many years and a cook so I know how a hamburger patty will cut. This was beyond over cooked. So just don't with trying to justify the the smoke made it dark. And the waitress was rude.

The servers were fine. It seemed like there was to many employees working with so few tables to be waited on. When we sat down the waitress brought butter and crackers to our table... which was confusing for us. Most places when they bring butter to the table they also bring rolls, not crackers. My fiancee ordered the steak, medium rare, with a baked potato and salad. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans and the waitress finally brought out the rolls with our food. My fiance's steak came out raw and bland so he had to send it back TWICE and the cook still didn't cook it right. The last time it was over cooked and he was tired of sending it back so he smothered it in A1 sauce (which he NEVER does) and choked it down. My mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant potatoes, the country fried steaks (they gave me 2) were over peppered and over cooked. The breading was so hard you could probably hear the crunch from me cutting into it all the way across the establishment. We tried the dinner rolls hoping something good came to our table but we were disappointed there too. They tasted like manufactured rolls. You could tasted that they had came out of a freezer and were so dry(even with butter) it was hard to swallow. We wanted to walk out without paying but we didn't. We will NOT be going back there. We were severely disappointed and upset that the food turned out so revolting. We will also NOT recommend this place to other people.

Great place! Super fast and even friendlier service. The portions are huge. Definitely get one meal to split or you'll end up with doggie bags. ?

Ribs were tough, not tender. Baked potato wasn't done. Food was not hot, just like warm. Tabouli and hummus were excellent.

The Waiter are mostly local young kids that will keep your ice tea full and.the most pleasant people you'll ever meet. I go there just about every Friday or Saturday and I am treated like a king.
The food is reasonable priced and is amazing.
Freddie closed down last year well this place is even better.
The cabbage rolls are amazing as well as anything on the menu.
If you go there you will be glad you made the trip.

They apparently use a preservative on their lettuce with no warning statements. My husband enjoyed his meal. Mine tasted fine but i was totally ill by the time i drive 4 miles home only thing that has ever caused that is salad preservative.
Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom not ada. Apparently there is another one but i was not going to ask my young man waiter for it
