The popcorn adds a novel "movie theater" touch! Restaurateur Carole Scott is friendly and hard working soul who knows full well how hard it can be to make a go of things in small town Oklahoma. Portion sizes here are quite generous; you certainly won't leave hungry. P.S.: Be sure to sample the clam chowder if it's on the menu.
I love that they have some healthy and lighter options and it is always fresh. BUT the daily specials are always a good choice!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat for lunch when I am in Duncan. I love the daily specials and the desserts are amazing. Carole Scott is always laughing and smiling and makes it such an enjoyable time. Glad to spend my lunch times at The Merchant. Don't forget to try the banana pudding Oh and the chicken and dumplings.
