Bayou Jaq's Seafood Shack - Catfish & Boils

Ordered Bayou Jaq’s for the first time tonight and it was AMAZING! My husband and I both ordered the small shrimp boil w/ spicy butter and cajun seasoning. My son ordered the fried catfish platter and it was also great! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They were closed !! We came for lunch 9 November on a Saturday at 1:30. My grandma said she came before and they were closed. I’m mad google says open. I was really hungry.

This place is one of the best catfish spots i have eaten at in a long time. The service was great as well. The food tasted fresh, no old, oil taste. I do not like it when you eat fried catfish and you get the after taste of old oil.

Our first visit and the food and weight staff are amazing. Our server was beyond friendly and attentive. The food came out fresh and so hot.

amazing catfish 😍 the food was delicious 😋 the service was exemplary 👏🏾10/10 🙌 this was one of the best Cajun food places in oklahoma and the prices are incredible 😲

I gotta be honest, ion know these ppl never met these ppl. Came in completely empty parking lot, gotta lil worried. But I wanted to try em out. They were bomb af frfr. Nick gave really great customer service. Too broke to be eating out but irresponsibly spending on this was not a let down. Really hope they keep it up cuz I’m coming back. Signed a black man from Mississippi born by the river. So Cajun aint no stranger. And they hit the mark better than most.

Terrible. I'll never go here again. They charge a 3% "service" upcharge on each order, the fish is Swai fish and not real catfish, the portions are small, the prices are too high, and the food is under seasoned. No thanks, I'll go somewhere else.

welp, not sure what is going on. placed an online order at 1;21pm for 6;15 pick-up. when my father-in-law got there to pick it up.....they couldn't find it. They did expedite it, but that didn't help. this was what my 10yr old wanted for her birthday. where to begin....ordered 3 extra corn, didn't not receive them, but certainly still charged for them. ordered a BASKET of fries....it was a literal dozen. asked for original seasoning on the side of the crab legs and claws.....since my kid doesn't like much spice.....it was clearly seasoned ON the cluster. I know they struggle with good employees, bit this is unacceptable to me. they did offer my father-in-law a free beverage for waiting, all for $137 meal (including tip). the absolute best part?!? good luck trying to call them! the online order system is through a 3rd party as well. while the food is good.......I'm not sure we will continue to patronize them. what a shame.....atleasts there still Brent's Cajun!!

This seafood boil was mid at best. Those two small trays, plus some crab bites are all I got for $100. Being from Louisiana, I'm ashamed to visit a place that has subpar options for people who just want a taste of home. This restaurant gets three stars because I can feel what they are trying to be, but aren't. I mostly got full on potatoes which took up the majority of the meal. It also gets three stars for the flavor which was very good and the crab bites reminded me a bit of home, but when we walked in, no one was available to take our order for about five minutes and then when approached, wasn't really given much help and the menu was off when we arrived so we had to wait for the individual to approach us before we could order. Also gets three stars for the sausage which was really flavorful and snappy, definitely a fresh sausage. I still won't be going back.

Friendly service. I had the fried catfish, shrimp, and waffle fries with a sausage on the side. If I do go back the catfish is the only thing I’d get again. I wouldn’t say I was disappointed in the food but I also don’t think it was with nearly $30. I also don’t think I’d call the shrimp “jumbo”.
