Looks a little plain on the outside- in a strip mall,, but food was fantastic!! They gave us a small bowl of queso-and table salsa and chips- comes with the meal.. one of the best queso's we have had..would recommend 100%... the green avocado salsa at the table was insane delish!!

Holy smokes. I can’t say enough about this place. Service was spot on. She helped us decide based off her preference and community feedback. We went with the Birria Ramen and Tostadas. I woke up the next day thinking about this food. It was $23.00 for us to eat and worth every penny. Very casual dining. 10 out of 10.

This place is a find! Homemade Latin in Edmond. Tortilla chips are perfectly crispy and tender. Try the bean dip! You will thank me later. The codfish tacos are bursting with flavor. The corn tortillas are perfectly tender but substantial enough not to fall apart. That is a trick. Birria ramen was so savory with perfect aldente noodles. The roast beef very tender. All the sauces are excellent also. Go check this place out! And the service is excellent and fast.

I just tried Cafe Sol for the first time, and it was delicious! I ordered the Taco Tuesday special and chose a steak taco, chicken taco, and green chili pork taco. It was so good I ended up with food on my stark white shirt!

Camille, in particular, provided excellent service! She was friendly, hospitable, and took her time explaining the entrees and salsas. I am definitely coming back!

Can smell how good it is from the parking lot, their service is so welcoming, and the food was not a disappointment one bit, cute little spot for a date or for the whole family, the salsas they have are actually spicy !! and the agua frescas are so good, first time of many eating here, cant wait to come back!!

Visiting for the first time from Kansas, and I gotta say, this will be a regular stop for me in the future when I’m in the area. Homemade salsa and dips were fantastic. Ordered the Burrito California, and it was so good I had to order an extra for the ride home. Service was excellent! Our server was incredibly generous and accommodating. I really appreciated her kindness. Will return soon!

Where to begin really? A little past the beginning but we will come back around to it, eventually. I think the short of it is this. We had only just taste-tested the chips with the sauces (salsa, habanero, tomatillo, cilantro, and a complimentary queso 😉) and I looked at my lunch date (aka hubby) and said, “This is our new Mexican place.” Honestly there’s that pause of hesitation – “Man, the salsa and the sauces are sooo good but what if that’s all that’s good? The rest of the food can’t come close to the perfect blend that they have on these” – that lends to setting up the impending disappointment. But oh no! (I don’t mind being wrong especially when it’s worth it.) So I had ordered the loaded fries, a Cali favorite. It’s been a while and I was expecting the “loaded” part complete with way too much cheese, no real veg, and everything congealed together – a 2lb plate full of naughtiness and tonight’s regret. What arrived didn’t match that description in any way – I mean yes there were fries and yes they were loaded BUT it looked…colorful, it smelled zesty. I was intrigued (and suspicious). I took that first bite and ka-blam (like explosions, both in my mouth and my brain – it was impressive to witness). Seriously, what kind of culinary ballad was this? Every bite was similar but different – it was like a weaving harmony. It was light, fresh, brilliant. I wasn’t even hungry and still ate most of the plate. Not only because it was so good but because it didn’t sit like a weight in my tummy. I eyed my husband’s plate. He had ordered the ceviche (back to the beginning, see I said we would get back around to it) and at the time I commented loudly about how he hadn’t ordered ceviche in nearly a decade (A, he doesn’t like seafood; B, he doesn’t like fresh seafood; C, he doesn’t like ceviche). What turned up were three meticulously messy (fully intentionally and with care mind you…it’s rather hard to describe honestly but you’ll get it when you see it) mounds of awesome. He wasn’t hungry in the slightest and he ate everything that I couldn’t steal from him (no joke). If the Loaded Fries were brilliant the ceviche was, well, it was like sitting on the beach off the Riviera Maya feeling the ocean breeze right at sunset. This was the Symphonie Fantastique! How did we miss this? I don’t know but it won’t happen again. Now all of you reading, go away and forget all that you have read. Café Sol is a secret worth keeping 😉
